Such a control circuit is arranged in the electrical component room 39, but as it becomes more complex and sophisticated, for example, when a failure occurs, it requires more specialized knowledge to find the cause. , and it is beginning to require a great deal of effort. Therefore, in order to make it easier to understand the status during inspection or when a failure occurs, it has become essential to have a failure diagnosis display means that displays the normal status of various sensor detection values and the normal operation of each functional block. Recently, the electric component room 39 is equipped with a fault diagnosis display function that displays the location of the fault to maintenance workers using, for example, an LED.

(Problems that the invention aims to solve) However, in the past, the number of failures and inspections was small, and as a result, the use of the above-mentioned fault diagnosis indicator lamps was low, and the system was targeted at maintenance workers with specialized knowledge. Therefore, no particular consideration was given to ease of confirmation and other considerations. In other words, for example, when performing troubleshooting work, the entire top plate or side panel of the outdoor unit main body casing is removed to expose the electrical component compartment, and then the troubleshooting display placed dotted on the circuit board, etc. It is necessary to compare the blinking status of the lamp with work procedure manuals, etc., confirm the contents of the abnormality indicator lamp, and find the location of the failure. Therefore, it takes time to confirm the location of abnormality during repairs and inspections, and it is also necessary to remove the top plate, etc. in rainy weather, so it is necessary to first deal with rain falling into the interior of the outdoor unit. This made the work even more complicated. In addition, if the indicator lamp is obscured by a bundle of wires and is difficult to see, it may be necessary to insert your hand and move the bundle of wires. However, performing the above-mentioned manual insertion work was also a safety problem.

(Function) In the outdoor unit of the refrigeration system having the above configuration, an external opening 21 is provided in the one side plate 5 of the main body casing 1, and when the blind cover 19 attached to this external opening 21 is removed, Through this external opening 21, display means 24 for displaying failure diagnosis, which is centrally arranged inside the main casing 1, can be observed. Therefore, conventionally, the work to check the failure diagnosis indicator lamps was started by removing the top plate or the entire side plate of the main body casing 1, but it was now necessary to open the external opening 21 necessary for observing the display means 24 arranged in a concentrated manner. This can be done by simply removing the covering blind lid 19, and the display can be checked at a glance, so inspection services and repairs can be speeded up.

In the device configured as described above, at the time of service inspection or when a failure occurs, the internal circuit board can be accessed through the external opening 21 and internal opening 17 by simply removing the blind cover 19 attached to the side plate 5. The display lamps 24 for fault diagnosis, which are arranged in a concentrated manner at 12, can be observed. Therefore, in the past, for example, when a failure occurred, it was necessary to perform the above-mentioned complicated work or work that had safety issues before confirming the location of the failure.
In the above embodiment, it is extremely easy to check the location of the failure by simply removing the blind cover 19, and it can be done in a short period of time, and there is no danger involved, and necessary measures such as the next repair work can be taken immediately. can be moved to. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, when performing external wiring work such as power supply wiring or outdoor unit connection wiring, the connection terminal board is provided in a position where connection can be made through the external opening 21, and forced operation is possible. The operation switch for changing operations necessary for inspections such as the above can also be operated through the external opening 21, and the workability of these operations has also been greatly improved.

Note that the above embodiment is based on a multi-type air conditioner that can add up to four indoor units.
Therefore, in consideration of the workability of the wiring work at the time of expansion, the communication terminal board is arranged at a position facing the external opening 21, and for this purpose, the side wall surface 14 to which this communication terminal board is attached is erected. This side wall surface 14 is provided with an internal opening 12 through which a failure diagnosis indicator lamp 24 can be observed, but for example, when the outdoor unit is for one room only and wiring work only needs to be done when installing the outdoor unit, etc. In this case, the terminal board may be placed in a different position, and therefore no side wall may be provided on the side plate 5 side of the electrical component box 8, and in this case, the internal opening 17 is not required. Further, for example, although an example has been described in which the blind cover 19 is fixed with screws, the above-mentioned embodiment is not intended to limit this invention, and various modifications can be made within the scope of this invention.
