Traditionally, vehicle seats have been formed by covering a pad material with a cloth or synthetic resin skin material, and in this case, it is common for the skin material and pad material to be formed independently and then assembled. It was hot. In order to eliminate such assembling work, a method has been adopted in which the skin material is placed in a foam mold and joined together when the pad material is foam molded.

However, many of the sheets have relatively large curved parts such as side support parts on the outside, and it is difficult to accommodate these sheet shapes in the foam molding mold for the skin material. However, it is difficult to obtain the desired shape, and the edges of the surface material must be pinned or taped to the foam mold, which poses various problems in terms of workability and productivity. Ta. Furthermore, when vacuum forming a skin material made of synthetic resin, it is partially subject to tensile force, making it impossible to obtain a skin material with a uniform thickness, and in the case of a skin material made of cloth, under normal conditions, it is difficult to obtain a skin material with a uniform thickness. Because of this, it was not possible to obtain a sufficient shape by vacuum forming, and there was a risk of damage due to heating and suction.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and includes disposing a skin material in a foam mold, injecting a stock solution of foamed synthetic resin into the foam mold, and foam-molding the pad material and the skin material together. In the method for integrally molding a skin material and a pad material, the foaming mold includes an upper mold and a lower mold, and the lower mold includes a first mold corresponding to an outer part of the pad material and at least one of the pad materials. a second mold corresponding to the central portion, and a second mold in the first mold.
The outer shape of the pad material is formed by matching the molds of the first or second mold.
At least one of the molds is connected to an elevating shaft of an up-and-down elevating means, and the skin material is made of a breathable fabric material that is previously formed to correspond to the molded shape of the pad material, and the skin material is arranged. When installing, either the first mold or the second mold is raised or lowered by the vertical elevating means to open the mold, and the portion of the skin material corresponding to the second mold is molded into the second mold. At the same time, the part corresponding to the first mold is placed on the second mold.
The pad material is led out to the outside of the mold, and in the guided state, the first and second molds are aligned by the vertical elevating means, and then the pad material is integrally molded with the skin material on the molding surface side of the second mold. The method is characterized in that the skin material and pad material are taken out from the foam mold, and the outside portion of the pad material is covered with the skin material in the portion corresponding to the first mold.
