By the way, when the stacked sheet material A on the fork 2 of the elevating device 3 reaches a certain amount or less in the process of transporting the sheet material, the fork 5 is pushed out under the stacked sheet material A to temporarily move the sheet material A. In order to prevent the protruding fork 5 from penetrating the side surface of the stacked sheet material A, the supporting operation by the auxiliary support device 6 is performed so that the protruding fork 5 does not pierce the side surface of the stacked sheet material A, as shown in FIG. A suitable gap α is provided between the fork 5 and the fork 5, and the stacked sheet material A is supported by protruding the fork 5.

However, if such a margin is provided, when the fork 2 of the lifting device 3 is lowered, the sheet-like object A will fall to the position of the fork 5, and the suction reference surface t will become the lower surface of the sheet-like object A. There is a problem in that the sheet material A is lowered by the gap α between it and the fork 5, and therefore the suction by the suction cup device 4 becomes unreliable, and the sheet-like material A cannot be smoothly conveyed to the other conveyor belt 7.

Therefore, it is best to leave no gap α between the lower surface of the sheet-like object A and the fork 5, but sheet-like objects A such as paper bags generally have some unevenness due to the material, etc. Due to these reasons, as shown in FIG. 6, the fork 5 may pierce the side surface of the laminated sheet material A, causing breakage or damage.

Therefore, it is necessary to provide an appropriate gap α between the lower surface of the sheet material A and the fork 5.
As a result, it is inevitable that the suction reference surface t of the sheet-like object A will be lowered from the predetermined position, making the suction of the sheet-like object A uncertain, or that the sheet-like object A will not be suctioned at all. There was a problem in which the sheet material A could not be sent smoothly and reliably one by one to another location.

During this time, the next stack of sheets conveyed by the lifting device is raised, and during this time, the sheet materials supported by the forks of the auxiliary support device are conveyed one by one to another location using the suction cup device. In a machine used for a sheet-like material conveying method in which the sheet-like material is continuously conveyed using A method for conveying a sheet-like object, characterized in that a means for projecting a fork in an oblique direction, and a fork position correction means for horizontally correcting the fork projecting at an angle to temporarily support the stacked sheet-like object are provided.
