<<Problems to be solved by the invention>> However, in the case of such conventional vehicle seats, since the edge of the upholstery material is folded back and then clipped to the lower surface of the seat frame 3, it is difficult to process the upholstery material. Since it is attached directly to the seat frame 3, the skin material 4
The problem is that the repulsive force that is effective against wrinkles and sagging acts only on one side, making it impossible to prevent wrinkles and sagging sufficiently. Furthermore, when attaching the slide, there is a risk that the cover may be caught between the slide and the frame 3, causing the bolts to loosen. Furthermore, in the above-mentioned conventional skin material fixing method, since the skin material 4 is attached and fixed along the seat frame 3, a large number of clips 5 are required, which increases the number of assembly steps, and the clips 5 are not suitable for vehicle use. When viewed from the entire seat body 1 of the seat, it is exposed at the lower side of the frame, which is the position of the periphery, so the occupant's feet can enter the underside of the seat body 1, and the end of the seat frame 3 and the cover material 4 can be attached. There is a risk that the cushion may be damaged by the clip 5.

<<Embodiment>> FIGS. 1 to 5 are diagrams showing a first embodiment of the present invention. The seat body 11 of the vehicle seat shown in FIG. 1 is a seat frame composed of a frame 8 extending in pairs in the front and rear and left and right directions, and a plurality of S springs 9 arranged on the upper surface of the frame 8. 1
3, a seat cushion 12 disposed on the seat frame 13, and a skin material 14 that covers the seat cushion 12 and the seat frame 13 and adjusts the shape of the seat body 11. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the skin material 14 is trimmed to cover almost the entire front and back of the seat body 11, except for the legs 31 provided at the bottom of the four corners of the seat frame 13. 11, the sheet body 11 is coated as shown in FIG.
Two sets of mating portions 21 and 22 are formed on the lower surface side in a substantially cross shape. Then, in the mating part 21, the skin material 1
The end edges 14a and 14b of the skin material 14 face each other, and the end edges 14c and 14c of the skin material 14 face each other at the mating portion 22.
are facing each other. In the joining part 21, the skin material 14 is pulled so that the edges 14a, 14b are brought together and fixed by the clips 23, and in the joining part 22, the edges 14c,
14d are pulled together and secured by clips 24. And skin material 1
4 are fixed with clips 23 and 24, the slide rail 30 is attached to the seat leg portion 31 by tightening bolts 32. Therefore, the slide rail 30
A metal contact is ensured between the seat leg portion 31 and the seat leg portion 31, and the skin material 14 does not enter (FIG. 5). Moreover, since the skin material 14 connects the mutually opposing ends, on the front side of the seat body 11, tensile force is applied to both sides of the skin material, and the tension of the skin material becomes strong. However, it is possible to cover almost the entire sheet body.

FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a second embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, among the edges of the skin material 14, edges 14c and 1 extend from a pair of opposite side portions to the lower surface side of the sheet body 11.
4d are brought together close to each other at the mating part 21, while the edges 14a and 14b that wrap around from the other pair of sides to the lower surface side of the sheet body 11 do not overlap the mating part 21, and are brought together in the mating part 21. It faces the side piece of section 21. Then, as in the first embodiment, the edges 14c and 14c are drawn toward each other and a predetermined tensile force is applied to the clip 2.
It is fixed by 4. On the other hand, the edges 14a and 14
b are drawn toward each other to apply a predetermined tensile force, and are fixed to the side pieces of the mating portion 21 by clips 25. Even in this embodiment, since the skin materials can be fastened to each other with clips, a tensile force acts on both sides of the skin material on the front side of the sheet body 11, and the tension of the skin material becomes strong. Further, it is also possible to cover almost the entire sheet body 11.

In each of the above embodiments, if a part of the skin material that wraps around the lower surface of the seat body 11 is made of an elastic material, it is possible to increase the tensile action when the edges are drawn together.

<<Effect of the invention>> As explained above, according to the invention, the skin material that covers the surface of the seat body of a vehicle seat is wrapped around the bottom surface of the seat body, and the skin material is coated at approximately the center of the back surface of the seat body. Since they are connected and fixed to each other, the skin material is pulled on both sides of the sheet surface in the front-rear direction or left-right direction, making it possible to prevent wrinkles and sagging from occurring. In addition, instead of clipping directly to the seat frame over almost the entire circumference of the seat frame as in the past, the skin materials are connected to each other, reducing the number of clips used when assembling the skin materials. It also helps reduce assembly man-hours. Furthermore, since the skin material covers almost the entire front and back of the seat body, the clip for fastening the skin material will not be exposed on the back surface of the seat, and the occupant's hands and feet will not be injured or his shoes will be damaged. Furthermore, the seat slide and the seat frame are in a state of metal contact upon attachment, and since the skin material does not enter, various effects can be achieved, such as ensuring the connection of both members.
