Claims (1)
- 静止側密封環が回転側密封環の大気側に位置す
るとともに、静止側密封環の外径部が、ハウジン
グの大気側の端面の内径部と該端面に固定された
フランジの内径部との間に形成される環状凹部に
パツキンを介して固定された構造を有するメカニ
カルシールにおいて、前記静止側密封環が、前記
環状凹部にパツキンを介して固定される外径リテ
ーナと、この外径リテーナの内周面に気密的に嵌
着され前記回転側密封環との摺動面を有する静止
摺動片と、この静止摺動片の反摺動面側を支承し
前記外径リテーナに螺子止めされた内径リテーナ
とよりなり、また、前記回転側密封環が、回転軸
上に気密的かつ軸方向移動自在に装着された回転
リテーナと、この回転リテーナに気密的に嵌着さ
れ前記静止摺動片との摺動面を有するとともに前
記外径リテーナよりも小径の回転摺動片とよりな
ることを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
