[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] This invention relates to an improvement of a die set for powder molding which is equipped with a mechanism for taking out a compact. [Prior Art] Among the well-known die sets for powder molding, there is one as shown in FIG. This die set is disclosed in JPMA4-1972 (Tool set with figures attached) and is equipped with a mechanism for ejecting a molded body containing wedges and forks. That is, die 1
A lower punch set consisting of a fixed lower punch 4 and a floating lower punch 5 is arranged around the core rod 3 inserted into the cavity 2 of the die. Floating lower punch 5 that descends with 1
is placed on the base plate 7 and the spring 8 is placed on the base plate 7.
The fork 9, which has been advanced to a position where it blocks the downward path of the floating lower punch, receives the force and once stops, and the final pressurization of the powder material is performed at this stopping position. Thereafter, the die plate 12 that moves together with the yoke plate 11 is lowered by the drive of the lower ram 13, and a part of the molded body is extracted from the cavity 2 of the die 1. During this die-cutting operation, the wedge 14 hanging down from the die plate gradually descends, and the wedge 14 reaches the roller 10 almost at the same time as the molded body is removed from the cavity.
is pushed radially outward, and the fork 9 with its rollers is retracted from the descending path of the floating lower punch. Immediately after that, the descending die plate 1
2 presses the floating lower punch 5 from above. Therefore, the lower floating punch 5 follows the subsequent lowering movement of the die plate 12, and thereby the lower floating punch is removed from the molded body. Note that when the floating lower punch 5 moves to the bottom dead center position where it is completely removed from the molded product, the upper surface of the die 1 and the upper surface of the core rod 3 supported by the yoke plate are in a position aligned with the upper surface of the fixed lower punch 4 or even higher than that. At the bottom, extraction of the molded body has been completed. Therefore,
By returning the upper punch, the molded product left on the fixed lower punch 4 can be taken out laterally from the die set.

In the figure, 15 is a connecting rod for the die plate 12 to the yoke plate 11, 16 is a lifting pin of the lower floating punch that is loosely passed through the through hole of the base plate 7, and 17 is a nut for adjusting the height of the set position of the lower floating punch. .

Firstly, the wedges 14 are provided in two or four locations for one die set, and are replaced depending on the dimensions of the molded product. However, when this method is adopted, the distance between the lower surface of the die plate and the sloped surface of the wedge when the bolt 19 is attached or removed is h 1
It requires fine adjustment of the lock nut 20 and tightening operation of the lock nut 20, and the workability of replacement is not excellent.

In addition, fork 9, which has the same number as wedge 14,
Also, the dimension h2 from the base plate 7 to the floating punch receiving surface is changed to the height according to the dimensions of the molded object, but this work is usually done using two forks for one fork. Since the spring 8 must be removed and attached, it is time-consuming, similar to replacing the wedge. Therefore, the conventional die set has the problem that it takes a lot of time to deal with changes in the dimensions or shape of the molded product, which reduces productivity accordingly.

This idea attempts to solve the above problem by devising forks and wedges. [Means for solving the problem] The characteristic part of this invention is that the above-mentioned fork and wedge are formed separately into a general-purpose part and a dedicated part, and the support member (the wedge side is a die plate, a fork The dedicated part is detachably attached to the general-purpose part, which is fixed to the base plate (on the side), via a so-called one-touch, easy-to-operate connecting means.

The wedge has a general-purpose part near the attachment part to the die plate, and a dedicated part on the tip side that displaces the fork, and has multiple dedicated parts with different lengths to match the dimensions of the molded object. On the other hand, with the fork, only the claw at the tip that receives the floating lower punch is a dedicated part, and the other parts are general-purpose parts, and by replacing only the claws of different heights, there is no need to attach or remove the spring.

The holder 33 of this wedge 30 is fixed to the die plate 12 and does not need to be removed. The simple connecting means 34 also includes a radial lock pin 37 whose one end is freely retractable into a receiving hole 35 at the center of the holder and inserted into a pin hole 36 provided corresponding to the outer periphery of the main body part 31, and a lock pin 37 which is inserted into the hole 35 at one end. The main body 31 and the spacer 32 can be attached and detached by simply pulling the lock pin 37 in the direction of arrow a in FIG. 2.

Note that the spacer 32 is not essential, but if it is provided, the spacer can be used with a different thickness in response to a change in length due to repair of the lower floating punch 5 or a request to change the timing of cutting out a molded object. This can be addressed by replacing or removing it. For example, remove the spacer 32 from the die set shown in FIG. (not shown) and bring the upper end of the main body part 31 into contact with the die plate 12,
The dimension h1 is reduced by an amount equivalent to the spacer thickness, and the start of extraction of the floating lower punch 5 is delayed compared to the illustrated die set.

Next, the fork 40 has a holder 43 with a pawl 41 for stopping the floating lower punch 5 at the final pressing point of the powder material and an input roller 42 from the wedge, as shown in detail in FIGS. 3 and 4. are connected by inserting pins 46 into pin holes 44 and 45 provided corresponding to their connecting portions. This fork holder 43 has a pair of left and right parallel rails 4.
7 and slide in direction b in Fig. 4.
Further, the holder is urged forward by a spring 49 provided between the left and right protrusions 48 and each parallel rail 47 in order to move the claw 41 to the descending path of the lower floating punch 5. Therefore, the height adjustment of the floating lower punch support portion h2 in the illustrated fork 40 is completed by simply replacing the pawl 41 by attaching and detaching the pin 46.

Note that 21 in Figure 1 is a patent application filed by the applicant in 1980-
Although the lower punch adjustment device was proposed in No. 166601 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 62-24897), the device or mechanism for adjusting the height of the lower punch in the die set of this invention is not limited to the one illustrated. The number of combinations of lower punches is not particularly limited either. In short, this idea can be applied to any die set that is equipped with a lower floating punch and whose lowering movement is controlled by a wedge and a fork.

As mentioned above, this invention divides each of the wedge and fork into a general-purpose part and a dedicated part, and connects them through an easy-to-operate connecting means. The work required to deal with changes etc. is significantly simplified, and the work time is significantly shortened, resulting in an effect that productivity can be improved.

In addition, the use of specialized wedge body parts and fork pawls allows them to be replaced with ones appropriate for each molded product, which has the effect of reducing the die set space to the minimum necessary and improving punch parallelism. , it also makes it possible to improve the precision of molded objects.
