Configuration of conventional example and its problems Conventionally, this type of installed meter is called a pointing meter. 1a, b and 2 a, b show this conventional pointing meter. A pointer 1 and a map 2 are present on the surface of the pointing meter, and on the outer circle of the map 2, the elevation angle of the satellite is multiplied by a gear ratio n=Z 2 /Z 1 and is scaled at equal intervals. As shown in the principle diagrams in Figures 2a and 2b, the pointer 1 is attached to the rotating shaft of a gear 5 which is meshed with a gear 4 at an appropriate gear ratio, which is subjected to an uneven load by a weight 3. . The rotating shafts of both gears 4 and 5 are both mounted at appropriate locations on the map board. Now, as shown in Figure 2a, if the reference plane A is erected almost perpendicular to the ground, the unbalanced load gear 4 will be set so that the unbalanced load point is always directly below the rotation axis due to the action of gravity. is set. Even if the reference plane A is rotated in the vertical plane to reach the state shown in Fig. 2b, the set state of the unbalanced load gear 4 does not change, so the pointer 1 changes the gear ratio n=Z to the rotation angle θ of the map board. 2 /Z Angle multiplied by 1
Rotate by nθ. Therefore, if this pointing meter is attached to an appropriate location on the antenna, the amount of change in the antenna elevation angle can be detected as a value multiplied by the gear ratio based on the rotation angle nθ of the pointer.

When installing an antenna to receive radio waves from a broadcasting satellite, align the reference plane of the pointing meter with the direction of the antenna. The instructions are drawn so that a straight line drawn in the radial direction from the axis of rotation of the pointer is a contour line that exactly looks at the satellite. Further, the elevation angle step (change amount) on the map is equal to the actual angle step multiplied by the aforementioned gear ratio.

In this way, the amount of change in the rotation angle of the pointer due to the rotation of the antenna will be exactly equal to the amount of change in the elevation angle on the map. If you use this property in reverse (by properly setting the pointer initially) and set the antenna elevation angle so that the pointer points to the antenna installation point on the map, the pointing direction of the antenna will exactly match the direction of the satellite. You can make it happen.

The above is the principle of pointing meter,
The elevation angle can be set simply by attaching this installation meter to the antenna and setting the pointer so that it points to the antenna installation point on the map.

However, in such a conventional configuration, since the meshing gears 4 and 5 are rotated only by the weight 3, backlash occurs, and if the backlash caused by this backlash is tried to be eliminated, the rotational resistance increases, causing an uneven load. This has the disadvantage that the point will not be directly under the rotation axis, resulting in an error.

Effects of the Invention As explained above, according to the antenna installation meter of the present invention, the installation elevation angle is set in advance and the elevation angle of the antenna is adjusted so that the vertical inclination of the base body becomes a predetermined angle. The antenna can be easily and accurately installed at a desired elevation angle without causing installation errors due to backlash unlike a tilting meter.
