Conventionally, in order to connect wooden boards that make up furniture such as wardrobes, for example, a top plate 8 is used as shown in FIG.
and side plate 9 with bolts 10, or
As shown in the figure, the dowels 11 are fitted and connected together with adhesive. However, in the former case, the bolt head is exposed on the outer surface of the furniture, which is unsightly, and if the bolt is tightened too strongly, the threads become loose, so it is necessary to fit the cylindrical receiving screw 12 to receive the bolt in advance. For this reason, processing is complicated and there is a risk of cracking, and in the latter case, there is a risk that the bonding is insufficient and there is a risk of separation during use.

Therefore, the main object of the present invention is to reliably and firmly connect wooden boards using a unique method that has not been seen before, thereby solving the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional method.

The method for connecting wooden planks for furniture construction according to the present invention includes forming recesses in the contact surfaces of the wooden planks to be connected, and forming grooves in one contact surface and/or the other contact surface. After forming, the abutment surfaces of the wooden boards are brought into close contact with each other to form a cavity for filling the synthetic resin with the recesses facing each other, and the grooves and the grooves facing the grooves are formed. An injection path for injecting the synthetic resin material from the injection molding machine into the cavity is formed by having contact surfaces or grooves facing each other, and then the injection molding machine passes the synthetic resin material through the injection path. Molten synthetic resin is injected into the cavity, thereby forming a dowel-like member on the abutment surface of the wooden boards to connect the wooden boards.

When molten synthetic resin material is injected into the cavity through the injection path in an injection molding machine, the air in the cavity escapes to the outside through the wood base, and at the same time some of the molten synthetic resin material injected into the cavity is impregnated into the wood of the board from the cavity peripheral wall surface by the injection pressure and exerts a strong adhesive effect, thereby firmly connecting the two boards.

In the figure, reference numerals 1 and 2 indicate wooden boards that are connected by the method of the present invention, and are used, for example, as a top plate and a side plate that constitute a frame of furniture. The board material includes a board material such as solid wood or synthetic wood such as plywood or particle board.

Then, recesses 17 and 18 are formed in the contact surfaces 15 and 16 of the two plates 1 and 2 to be joined to form a cavity 3 for filling with synthetic resin, and a recess is formed in the contact surface 15 of one of the plates. In addition, the injection path 4 may be formed by forming the groove 19 only on the other contact surface 16 and having the groove 19 and the contact surface 15 facing it. Forming grooves 19, 19 in 15, 16,
It is also possible to form grooves 19 facing each other. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the cavity 3 is formed in the same form as a generally used rod-shaped dowel, but it is also free to form a dogleg-shaped cavity 3A as shown in Fig. 3. can be,
It is also possible to form the cavity 3B with an inclined shape as shown in Fig. 4, or the cavity 3C with a large diameter at the inner part as shown in Fig. 5, or form it in various other forms. It would be possible.

Next, with both plate materials 1 and 2 tightly held by holders 5 and 5, a molten synthetic resin material is injected into the cavity 3 by an injection molding machine 6 to form a dowel-like member 7 inside the cavity 3.
In this case, since the wooden boards 1 and 2 have air permeability, the air in the cavity 3 escapes to the outside through the wood, and at the same time, a part of the molten synthetic resin material injected into the cavity 3 is released under the injection pressure (usually 20 kg/cm 2 ), it impregnates into the wood of the plates 1 and 2 from the cavity peripheral wall surface and exerts a strong adhesive effect, thereby firmly connecting both the plates 1 and 2. In this case, the shape of the dowel-like member 7 can be formed into various shapes shown in FIGS. can be concatenated.
