Generally, decking materials for this type of balcony are laid on joists arranged in parallel so as to face in a direction perpendicular to the decking materials. However, conventionally, all joists are of the same height, so most of the decking materials are flat.
For this reason, if it rains on the balcony or if the plants placed on the deck get wet, the water on the deck will not drain away and will remain there, which is a problem.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. In the drawing, 1 is a balcony built on a building such as a house, and the balcony 1 is:
The construction of the pillars 2, front frame 3, joists 4, side frames 5, caps 6, joists 7, decking material 9, etc. are all the same as before.

The joist 7 is made of a substantially square cylindrical member,
On both left and right edges of the upper surface, there is a substantially inverted L shape with contact surfaces 7b.
A letter-shaped protruding piece 7a is integrally formed to protrude upward. On the other hand, reference numeral 8 denotes an auxiliary joist that is installed in a laminated manner on the joist 7, and the auxiliary joist 8 has an opening in the same shape as the upper side of the joist 7 on its upper surface, and has a locking piece 8a on its lower surface. The two protruding pieces 8b are formed parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. That is, the auxiliary joist 8 is fixed in such a way that the protruding piece 8b is pushed into the opening on the upper side of the joist 7, and the locking piece 8a is locked in the opening, thereby preventing the auxiliary joist 8 from coming off. The joists 7 are arranged at a predetermined interval between an L-shaped joist receiver 4 that is horizontally installed on the outer wall of the building, and a front frame 3 that is horizontally installed on the pillars 2 that are erected on both left and right sides. These joists 7 have heights H, H 1 , H 2 ,
The closer H3 is to the center, the taller it is. That is,
The joists 7 are taller towards the center than those on both the left and right sides, and the joists 7 are arranged so that the center position is the highest.
The height H is adjusted by a combination of the joist 8 and the auxiliary joist 8. And to install joist 7, bolt 1
This is done by screwing the bolt 10 into the nut 11 so that the side surface of the joist 7 passes through to the receiving part 4a of the joist receiver 4 and the receiving part 3a of the front frame 3, respectively.

On the other hand, the decking material 9 is laid perpendicularly to the joist 7, and the left and right ends of the decking material 9 are located at the receiving portions of the side frames 5 on both the left and right sides.
A, the intermediate portion is attached to the joists 7 (auxiliary joists 8) by screwing them using screws 12, respectively. Deck material 9 installed in this way
are installed along the height H of each joist 7, so the deck 13 formed by laying the decking material 9 has a mountain-shaped slope with a gentle slope that is lower at both left and right ends and higher toward the center. It is set to face the surface.

In addition, 5b in the figure is a groove formed in the inner bottom surface of the side frame 5, and the groove 5b is designed so that water flowing from the upper surface of the deck 13 toward both left and right ends falls. The fallen water flows along the groove 5b toward the support column 2 and is discharged to the ground via a rain gutter (not shown).

In the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above, when it rains on the deck 13, the rainwater flows in both left and right directions with the center as a border due to the slope of the deck 13, and flows onto the groove 5b in the side frame 5. and is discharged to the ground through rain gutters (not shown).

In this way, in the present invention, the height H of the combination of the joists 7 and the auxiliary joists 8 is set so that the ones closer to the center are higher, and the decking material 9 laid here is set in a gentle mountain shape. Therefore, if it rains on the deck 13, the rainwater will surely flow to the side frame 5 side due to the slope, and therefore,
To ensure that water can be drained without leaving a puddle on the deck 13. Moreover, the tall and strong joists 7 with the auxiliary joists 8 attached are arranged on the center side where the strength is low in the balcony 1, and therefore the balcony is made to have excellent strength. Furthermore, the height H of the joists 7 can be freely adjusted by combining the joists 7 themselves and the auxiliary joists 8, without having to use multiple types of joists with different heights. Therefore, it becomes possible to uniformize the parts, and it is possible to greatly improve work efficiency including inventory management.

It goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment. For example, the auxiliary joist 8 may be made of soft and hard plastic co-extruded or made of a hard material, as in the second embodiment shown in FIG. If the cushioning material 8c made of a soft material is fixed to the main body of the auxiliary joist 8, the contact surface of the auxiliary joist 8 between the joist 7 and the decking material 9 is made of a soft material. Since it is formed, it has the advantage of having a buffering effect and a silencing effect.

In short, since the present invention is constructed as described above, the decking material laid on the joists is set so that the joists are taller toward the center, so that the center is higher and both ends are higher. It has a low, gentle mountain shape, so even if water such as rainwater collects on the deck, the slope of the decking material ensures that this water will flow down to both sides, leaving a puddle on the deck. It is possible to drain water reliably without any problems. Moreover, since the balcony has a tall joist on the central side that is weak in strength, it becomes a well-balanced balcony with excellent strength unlike before. Furthermore, the height can be freely adjusted by combining the joists themselves and the auxiliary joists, without having to use multiple types of joists with different heights. It becomes possible to standardize the process, and it is possible to greatly improve work efficiency, including inventory management.
