Generally, decking materials for this type of balcony are laid on joists arranged in parallel so as to face in a direction perpendicular to the decking materials. However, conventionally, all the joists are of the same height, so the decking material is almost flat. For this reason, if it rains on the balcony or if the plants placed on the deck get wet, the water on the deck will not drain away and will remain there, which is a problem.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention was devised for the purpose of providing a balcony that can eliminate these drawbacks. A balcony constructed by laying on a plurality of joists arranged in parallel in a posture facing toward the joists, the balcony having an engagement groove that engages with the bottom side of the joists, and adjusting sides having different thicknesses formed on both sides of the engagement groove. The balcony is characterized in that the height of the joist can be adjusted such that the height of the joist becomes higher as the center side becomes taller by the combination of the adjuster engaging the bottom side of the joist. The water accumulated on the decking material can be naturally drained away, thereby preventing the formation of water puddles.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. In the drawing, 1 is a balcony built on a building such as a house, and the balcony 1 is:
The construction of the pillar 2, the front frame 3, the joist support 4, the side frame 5, the cap 6, the joist 7, the decking material 8, etc. are all the same as before.

The joist 7 is made of a substantially square cylindrical member,
On both left and right edges of the upper surface, there is a substantially inverted L shape with contact surfaces 7b.
A letter-shaped protruding piece 7a is integrally formed to protrude upward. Further, reference numeral 9 is an adjustment tool, and the adjustment tool 9 is formed with an engagement groove 9a that can be engaged with the bottom side 7c of the joist 7.
Adjustable sides 9b, 9 on both upper and lower sides formed by a
c have different predetermined thicknesses h 1 and h 2 , respectively. Further, the adjustment sides 9b and 9c are provided with through holes 9d that penetrate in the vertical direction.

The joists 7 are arranged at a predetermined interval between an L-shaped joist receiver 4 that is horizontally installed on the outer wall of the building, and a front frame 3 that is horizontally installed on the pillars 2 that are erected on both left and right sides. A plurality of joists are installed in parallel on the left and right, and the installation heights H, H 1 , H 2 , and H 3 of these joists 7 become taller as they are closer to the center. That is, the joists 7 are taller as they are closer to the center than those on both the left and right sides, and the adjuster 9 is engaged with the bottom of the joist 7 so that the center position is the highest. Adjustable sides 9b and 9c sandwiched between the receiving part of the joist receiver 4 or the receiving part 3a of the front frame 3,
The installation height H of the joist 7 is adjusted by selecting the installation state of the adjustment tool 9. Each joist 7 is installed using a bolt 10 having a length corresponding to at least the installation height H of the joist 7,
The bolt 10 is screwed into the nut 11 so that both sides of the joist 7 with which the adjuster 9 is engaged pass through to the receiving part 4a of the joist receiver 4 and the receiving part 3a of the front frame 3, respectively.
This is done by screwing it together.

On the other hand, the decking material 8 is laid perpendicularly to the joist 7. They are attached by screwing them into the respective screws 12. The deck material 8 installed in this way is attached to each joist 7.
Since it will be installed along the installation height H, the deck 13 formed by laying the decking material 8 will be a mountain-shaped slope with a gentle slope that is lower at both left and right ends and higher toward the center. It is set as follows.

In addition, 5b in the figure is a groove formed in the inner bottom surface of the side frame 5, and the groove 5b is designed so that water flowing from the upper surface of the deck 13 toward both left and right ends falls. The fallen water flows along the groove 5b toward the support column 2 and is discharged to the ground via a rain gutter (not shown).

In the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above, when it rains on the deck 13, the rainwater flows in both left and right directions with the center as a border due to the slope of the deck 13, and flows onto the groove 5b in the side frame 5. and is drained to the ground through rain gutters (not shown).

In this way, in the present invention, the height of the joist 7 is H
is made higher toward the center, and the decking material 8 laid here has a gentle mountain shape, so that when it rains on the decking 13, the rainwater is reliably drained by the sloped surface. Therefore, water will not remain on the deck 13 and water can be drained reliably. Moreover, the installation height H of joist 7
can be freely adjusted using the adjuster 9 which is formed with adjustment sides 9b and 9c of different thicknesses. Therefore, even if the joist 7 is of one type, it can be made taller toward the center. , it is possible to significantly improve not only inventory control but also work efficiency.

In short, since the present invention is constructed as described above, the decking material laid on the joists is set so that the joists are taller toward the center, so that the center is higher and both ends are higher. It has a low, gentle mountain shape, so even if water such as rainwater collects on the deck, the slope of the decking material ensures that this water will flow down to both sides, leaving a puddle on the deck. It is possible to drain water reliably without any problems. Moreover, the height of the joist 7 can be freely adjusted using an adjustment tool that has adjustment sides with different thicknesses.
Regardless of the type, the center side can be made taller, making it possible to significantly improve not only inventory control but also workability.
