    タンを切出し、この切出した文字パタンの認識結
    果を出力する認識部と、知識辞書に基づき前記認
    識結果の知識処理結果を出力する後処理部と、知
    識処理結果を表示する表示部とを備えて成る文字
    認識装置において、 前記表示部を、知識処理結果の評価値に応じて
    表示を変化させる表示部としたことを特徴とする
    文字認識装置。 (2) 前記後処理部を、認識部が認識結果に付し
    て出力する候補順位、使用頻度、類似度及び距離
    のうちいずれか一つに基づいて前記評価値を算出
    する後処理部としたことを特徴とする請求項１に
    記載の文字認識装置。 (3) 前記表示部を、異なる色、異なる輝度、ブ
    リンキング及びアンダーラインのうちのいずれか
    一つ又は複数を用いて、表示を変化させる表示部
    としたことを特徴とする請求項１〜２のいずれか
    一項に記載の文字認識装置。
