[Detailed description of the invention] [Field of industrial application] The present invention is an exhaust gas analyzer used to analyze the NOx concentration of various types of exhaust gas such as flue gas and automobile exhaust gas. relates to an exhaust gas analyzer configured to supply measurement gas to an analysis section through a semipermeable membrane dehumidifier.

In order to eliminate such moisture interference effects, conventionally,
A device configured to remove moisture from the measurement gas using an electronic cooler is known. However, in the case of electronic coolers, the humidity is often adjusted to about 2 to 5 degrees Celsius to avoid freezing, which is not yet satisfactory for measurements in low concentration ranges.

Therefore, in order to enable measurement in a low concentration range, a structure as shown in FIG. 5 is known. In this figure, 1 is a pump for sucking the measurement gas from the probe 2, and the measurement gas sucked by this pump 1 is supplied to the drain separator 4 through the primary filter 3, where it is separated. The drain is stored in the drain pot 5. After the drain has been separated, the measurement gas is supplied to a semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 via a needle valve 6 and a secondary filter 7, where it is dehumidified and then transferred to an analysis section 1 having an NDIR etc.
1. Since dehumidification is performed by the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8, the outlet gas dew point is approximately -10 to -20°C, which is considerably lower than when using an electronic cooler. It is now possible to measure up to a range.

However, when trying to analyze a concentration range of 20 ppm or less with NO, for example, the outlet gas dew point of the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 changes due to changes in the ambient temperature of the exhaust gas, and the interference characteristics (moisture content) in the analysis section 11 change. The problem was that measurement errors occurred due to the relationship between concentration and interference influence value. Furthermore, the outlet gas dew point should be set to -20 to -30.
C. or lower, the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 itself becomes expensive and has drawbacks such as requiring a large amount of purge gas.

In the exhaust gas analyzer configured as above, the measurement gas is supplied to the electronic cooler via the needle valve and pump, and the measurement gas is dehumidified in advance in the electronic cooler before being supplied to the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier. . On the upstream side of the electronic cooler, the needle valve and the pump are provided so that the needle valve is located on the upstream side, so the cooling effect of the electronic cooler is not hindered, and the electronic cooler Preliminary dehumidification of the sample gas is performed reliably, so even if the ambient temperature of the flue gas changes during analysis in a low concentration range, the outlet gas dew point of the electronic cooler, in other words, the inlet dew point of the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier, can be maintained. The temperature can be maintained at a constant value of about 2 to 5°C. Therefore,
Compared to using a semipermeable membrane dehumidifier alone,
In addition to improving the dehumidification effect, the dew point of the outlet gas of the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier can be stabilized regardless of changes in ambient temperature, and the influence of moisture interference can be reduced.

An embodiment of the exhaust gas analyzer according to the present invention will be explained based on FIG. Gas is supplied to a drain separator 4 through a primary filter 3, as in the conventional case, and the drain separated there is stored in a drain pot 5. The measurement gas after the drain is separated is as before.
The gas is supplied to the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 via the needle valve 6 and the secondary filter 7, but first passes through the secondary filter 7 and then passes through the needle valve installed in the measurement gas flow path upstream of the pump 1. 6, then
It is configured to be supplied to an electronic cooler 9 interposed in the measurement gas flow path upstream of the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 . The reason why the needle valve 6 is provided on the upstream side of the pump 1 is as follows. if,
When the pump 1 is installed upstream of the needle valve 6, the pressure on the outlet side of the pump 1 is high, so the partial pressure of water vapor becomes high, and the resulting dew reduces the cooling effect of the electronic cooler 9. According to the above-mentioned configuration, this does not happen. Then, it is dehumidified in advance by this electronic cooler 9, and the pressure is maintained almost constant by a constant pressure trap 10. After that, it is supplied to an analysis section 11 having an NDIR etc. through a semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8. It is structured as follows.

In this way, the measurement gas is dehumidified in advance by the electronic cooler 9 before being supplied to the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 . Furthermore, on the upstream side of the electronic cooler, the needle valve and the pump are provided so that the needle valve is located on the upstream side, so the cooling effect of the electronic cooler is not hindered, and the electronic cooler Preliminary dehumidification of the sample gas is performed reliably, so even if the ambient temperature of the exhaust gas changes during analysis in a low concentration range, the outlet gas dew point of the electronic cooler 9 can be maintained at a constant value of about 2 to 5 degrees Celsius. Then, it can be supplied to the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 as it is. Therefore, it is possible to stabilize the outlet gas dew point of the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 regardless of changes in ambient temperature, reduce the influence of moisture interference, and improve the dehumidification effect as a whole. The graph in Figure 2 numerically represents such an effect compared to when the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 is used alone. Each figure shows the case where the membrane dehumidifier 8 is used alone. However, the flow rate of the measurement gas, the flow rate of the purge gas in the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8, and the purge gas dew point are all constant. As is clear from this graph, the dehumidifier according to the present invention can improve the dehumidification effect compared to the case where the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 is used alone, and the dehumidification effect becomes particularly noticeable at high temperatures. I can understand that.

2 is provided, and the one in FIG.
3, each of which heats the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8. In this way, by heating the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier 8 at low temperatures, the moisture characteristics at low temperatures can be kept close to a constant level and stabilized, as shown by the dashed line in the graph of FIG. Analysis with less influence of moisture interference becomes possible.

As explained above, in the present invention, the measurement gas is supplied to the electronic cooler via the needle valve and the pump, and the measurement gas is previously dehumidified in the electronic cooler before being supplied to the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier. Furthermore, on the upstream side of the electronic cooler, the needle valve and the pump are provided so that the needle valve is located on the upstream side, so the cooling effect of the electronic cooler is not hindered, and the electronic cooler Preliminary dehumidification of the measurement gas is performed reliably, so even in analysis in a low concentration range, the influence of moisture interference can be minimized and stable analysis can be performed.

The electronic cooler itself requires only simple temperature control, and since the semipermeable membrane dehumidifier has a large moisture adsorption capacity, the ripple that would be a problem when using the electronic cooler alone can be ignored. can be constructed at low cost as a whole.
