General transportation trolleys are as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 54-6768 and Japanese Utility Model Application No. 54-51761, etc.
It is a lift type or hoist type that can travel on flat ground and stairs, and no consideration was given to carts that carry large amounts of luggage on escalator steps.
However, if there is a trolley for flat terrain that is large enough to ride on steps, it can be used for escalators, but a worker is required for each trolley, and it is difficult to transport large amounts of cargo at once. I couldn't do it.

An object of the present invention is to provide an escalator transport cart that can be loaded and unloaded onto and off several escalator steps at once, and which is free from the risk of damaging the escalator when loading and unloading.

A feature of the present invention is that a coupling device is attached to each transport vehicle, and this coupling device includes a male coupling body whose horizontal cross section is T-shaped, and a recessed portion that accommodates the head of this male coupling body. The recessed portion of the female connector and the head of the male connector are shaped to allow mutual movement only in the vertical direction.

There is no risk of damaging the escalator when loading or unloading.
以下本発明の実施例を図面によつて説明する。 Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

Male and female connectors 4 and 5 are provided on the front and rear side plates of the storage box 2. Further, a sloped plate 8 is provided at the front lower part of the storage box 2, and the sloped plate 8 makes the area of the upper opening of the storage box 2 larger than the bottom surface area. The male connector 4 consists of a vertically extending head 4a and a support portion 4b, and has a T-shape as a whole. On the other hand, the female connector 5 has a recess 5a into which the head 4a is fitted, and a gap 5b into which the support 4b moves.

In this state, even if at least one of the carts A and B moves in the vertical direction, the connecting bodies 4 and 5 maintain the connected state within the range of the engagement length in the axial direction. In other words, the axial engagement length of the connecting bodies 4 and 5 is set so that the connection between the two carriages does not come off due to the vertical movement that occurs between the carriages when the carriages are placed on the steps of an escalator. Furthermore, since the male connector 4 has a T-shape and the head 4a fits into the recess 5a of the female connector, by appropriately stiffening this fit, it is possible to prevent meandering between the bogies. can be prevented.

On the other hand, when the escalator is traveling down, the steps 13 perform a series of movements that are completely opposite to those described above.

る。 As shown in the figure, the carts are placed one by one on each step 13, and a worker holds the leading or trailing cart. Due to the vertically movable connection of the connecting bodies 4 and 5, each trolley moves up and down following the step difference between each step 13, thereby preventing each trolley from tilting and falling, allowing safe transportation by escalator. It becomes possible. On the other hand, since the inclined plate 8 is provided at a position facing the riser 11 of the truck, even if the bottom surface 9 of the truck is lowered, the portion facing the riser 11 can be prevented from getting caught on the steps 13. .

A plurality of units can be connected in advance to form an escalator transport trolley. Further, the shape of the storage box 2 and the structure and number of wheels are not limited to the illustrated embodiment; for example, belt-shaped wheels may be used to enable the storage box 2 to run up stairs. Furthermore, it is advisable to add a brake device to keep the truck stopped.
