In small and medium-sized buildings, installation space for air conditioners is often an issue. Conventional general air conditioning equipment, as shown in Figure 7, consists of an air-conditioned room R and a machine room MR.
An air conditioner equipped with a dust collector D, a humidifier M, a cooling/heating coil C, and an air supply fan F is installed in the machine room MR, and an air supply duct is installed in the attic space S.
The FD and return air duct ED are installed to supply and return air to the target room R.

In addition, as a second method, as shown in Fig. 8,
An outside air introduction duct AD is provided in the attic space S, and outside air is supplied to the target room R by an air supply fan F. In addition to the heating/cooling coil package P 1 , a dust collection package P 2 is separately provided.

However, the first method described above requires a large machine room space, requires ducts, has high equipment costs, and has complicated construction.
Although this approach offers improvements in terms of space and ducting, other drawbacks remain.

Therefore, the main purpose of the present invention is to provide an air-cooled heat pump type air conditioner that can solve the above problems all at once, and that requires only a small installation space because the device itself is compactly integrated into a small package casing. .

The present invention to solve the above problems is to form an attic space between the building frame and the ceiling of the room to be air-conditioned in a state where it communicates with outside air, and to install an air-cooled heat pump package in the attic space and the room to be air-conditioned. A connection casing connects the top of the package, an outside air road is provided in the package cage that connects to the connection casing and reaches the lower part of the package, and this outside air guide path communicates with the return air port. A dust collector for outside air and the mixture is arranged facing the air, a cooling/heating coil is provided in front of the dust collector, and a humidifying area is provided in front of the cooling/heating coil, and above the humidifying area and next to the outside air conduit. It is characterized in that an air supply fan is arranged and an air outlet from the package is formed above the air supply fan.

In this invention, the attic space is used as a conduit for outside air,
From this conduit, the outside air passes through the connection casing, descends through the outside air conduit inside the package, passes through the dust collector at the bottom of the package, the cooling/heating coil, and the humidification area, and is then discharged from the outlet by the air supply fan as conditioned air. It's blown out.

Therefore, there is no need to set up the machine room separately from the room to be air-conditioned, and there is no need to install ducts in the attic space. It is extremely easy to construct since all that is required is to communicate the space between the ceiling and the attic space. In addition, duct piping is not required and the equipment can be housed in one compact package, resulting in cost reduction.

Inside the package 4, an outside air conduit 7 partitioned by a partition wall 6 is vertically formed at a position corresponding to the connection casing 5. At the bottom of the package 4, a dust collector 8 such as an electric precipitator or a filter is installed to collect the outside air. It is installed facing the guideway 7. A cooling/heating coil 9 connected to an outdoor unit (not shown) is disposed in front of the dust collector 8, and an ultrasonic humidifier 10, for example, is provided at the lower front of the coil 9. The front area of the humidifying area 11 is defined as the humidifying area 11. An air supply fan 12 is provided in the upper part of this humidification area 11, and conditioned air is blown out from an outlet 13 in the upper part of the package 4. 14 is a control panel.
Indoor air is taken in from the return air grill 15.
