Claims (1)
- 固定環と回転環の互いの摺動面のうちの何れか
一方に、回転環の回転によつて外周側へのポンプ
圧を生じる方向へ傾斜し摺動面外周に開放された
溝と、内周側へのポンプ圧力を生じる方向へ傾斜
し摺動面内周に開放された溝を設け、該溝は、相
手摺動面の摺動方向と対抗する側壁の縁部と前記
摺動面のなす角度が鋭角となる断面形状を呈する
ことを特徴とするメカニカルシール。
