- 金属ケースの内周に、密封空間側のゴム材製リ
ツプ部材およびこのリツプ部材の反密封空間側に
添設された合成樹脂製リツプ部材を保持したリツ
プ型シールにおいて、前記合成樹脂製リツプ部材
のシヤフト外周面との摺動面に、密封空間および
反密封空間のいずれからも閉鎖された複数の凹部
を設け、各凹部はシヤフトの回転方向へ向けて浅
くなる形状をなすことを特徴とするリツプ型シー
ル。
