Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、長方形の底面を有し平らにして置か
れる平盤状の台部と、この台部の上に備えられか
つ前記台部に向く面と反対側の面に表示面が設け
られた平盤状のスクリーン部と、長く延びた支持
要素とを備え、この支持要素の一端部（台部側端
部）が前記台部に固定されかつその他端部（スク
リーン部側端部）が前記スクリーン部を支持して
成るデータデイスプレイ装置に関する。
このようなデータモニタはドイツ連邦共和国特
許出願公開第1811272号公報において述べられて
いる。
既に知られている表示装置においては、傾けら
れた状態のスクリーン部は台座から出された柱を
土台としており、その柱は両部分にそれぞれ中心
位置で固定される。このような構造は比較的安定
しており、しかもスクリーン部を簡単な方法で、
たとえば柱の頭部内に玉継手を組込むことによ
り、各方面から回転可能に支持することができ
る。しかしながら、映像スクリーンも同様に高さ
調整可能に構成することは非常に多くう費用がか
かる。さらに、表示装置が直立した嵩高さの構成
形状を有し、そのために運搬および運送が困難に
させられ、かつ引つ掛けた状態での使用が実用上
できないという欠点がある。このことは、ドイツ
連邦共和国特許第1811272号公報において取扱わ
れているデイスプレイ装置の長所、つまり映像ス
クリーンの奥行きが僅かであるという長所がその
ために実際上有効にならなくなるので、とりわけ
特に不満足なことである。
本発明は、スクリーン部を自由に調整でき、コ
ンパクトな運搬形態および壁掛け形態を作ること
ができ、その場合に簡単かつグラグラしないよう
に構成することができ、そして美的観点について
も満たされることは勿論であるようなデータデイ
スプレイ装置を提供することを目的とする。
このような目的は、本発明によれば、冒頭で述
べた種類のデータデイスプレイ装置において、(a)
支持要素は回転アームとして構成され、この回転
アームの台部側端部が台部の上側の背面縁の領域
に回転可能に取付けられ、そのスクリーン部側端
部がスクリーン部の下側の背面縁の領域に回転可
能に取付けられ、その場合両回転軸は前記台部の
上側の背面縁に平行に設けられ、(b)前記台部の上
面はその側面縁に平行に延びる窪みを有し、この
窪み内に前記回転アームが前記台部と同じ並びに
なるように沈むことができ、(c)前記デイスプレイ
装置は、前記回転アームを前記窪み内に沈めかつ
前記スクリーン部を前記台部に対して垂直に立て
た際、連続した平らな正面を形成し、(d)前記スク
リーン部は、このスクリーン部を後ろへ回わして
前記台部に対して平行な状態にしかつ前記回転ア
ームを前記台部の窪み内に沈めた場合に、その左
右の側面が前記台部の幅の狭い側面とほぼ同じ列
となつて、前記台部上に置かれるようにすること
によつて達成される。
本発明の有利な実施態様によれば、台部とスク
リーン部とはほぼ同じ大きさを有するように構成
される。
本発明の他の実施態様によれば、台部の下面は
２つの窪みを有し、これらの窪みは台部の向かい
合つている幅の狭い側面、特に台部の前面側の幅
の狭い側面および後面側の幅の狭い側面を起点と
して形成される。
さらに本発明の他の実施態様によれば、台部は
電源回路の構成要素およびインターフエイスの構
成要素を含む。
次に本発明を図面に概略的に示した実施例に基
づいて詳細に説明する。
図示したデータモニタはデータ処理装置のデイ
スプレイ装置として使用される。このデータモニ
タは主として３つの部分、すなわち平らにして置
かれている平盤状の台部１と、この台部と同じよ
うな大きさを有する平盤状のスクリーン部２と、
平盤状台部１と平盤状スクリーン部２とを互いに
結合する回転アーム３とから構成されている。
台部１は上下に置かれた２つの半部分、すなわ
ち底部４とカバー部６とから構成されている。両
半分にはそれぞれの縁領域に放熱スリツト７が設
けられており、この放熱スリツト７から使用中に
発生した熱を逃がすことができる。台部１の下面
には２つの窪み８，９が作られている。これらの
窪み８，９は前面縁および後面縁の領域に設けら
れて台部の側面から手を入れることができ、取手
およびケーブル等の出口として使うことができ
る。台部１の上面は同様に一個所に窪みが形成さ
れている。図においては参照番号１１が付されて
いるこの窪みは背面縁の中央から出て、側面縁に
平行にほぼ前面縁のところまで延びている。この
窪み１１には回転アーム３が収容され、この回転
アームは背面縁の領域で回転可能に台部１に固定
されそしてびしやりとたたんだ状態においてはそ
の台部１の上面と連続面になるように構成されて
いる。回転アーム３の他端は回転可能にスクリー
ン部２と結合されている。両回転軸は互いに平行
である。すなわち、両回転軸は水平に延び、回転
アームの長さ方向に交差している。スクリーン部
２も同様に放熱スリツト７が設けられている２つ
の半部分、すなわち前面部１２と背面部１３とか
ら組立てられている。前面部１２にはその正面
に、表示面１６を取囲む枠体１４が形成されてい
る。
スクリーン部２は種々の高さに配置することが
でき、僅かに前側に傾けた位置から水平状態にな
るまで後ろへ倒すことができる。それゆえ、デイ
スプレイの観察角度に関する最も重要な人間工学
的要求を満たすことができる。スクリーン部２を
垂直に立て、回転アーム３を窪み１１内に沈める
と、スクリーン部２の正面は台部１の前面側の幅
の狭い側面と同じ並びとなり、その結果観察者に
は、光学的な乱れを生じる隙間なしに、実質的に
連続した平面が与えられる。回転アーム３を窪み
１１内に沈めた際に、スクリーン部２の水平状態
にもたらすと、そのスクリーン部２は台部１上に
載置され、そして左右がその台部１と同じ列にな
る。このような形態において、本発明によるデー
タデイスプレイ装置は容易に運搬したり、荷造り
したり、運送したりすることができ、そして必要
とあらば壁に掛けることができる。
この場合において、本発明によるデータデイス
プレイ装置は、スクリーン部２が手で所望の状態
にもたらされそして補助的なロツク手段を用いる
ことなしにその姿勢をいつまでも保つように設計
されている。ある特定の場合においては、回転運
動を電気的に制御することのできる調整機構を取
付けることができる。
通常の場合には、デイスプレイ装置のために必
要な電子回路は次のようにして個々の装置ユニツ
トに分割装備される。すなわち、スクリーン部２
はデイスプレイに直接固定された制御モジユール
を含めて本来の平形デイスプレイを有するだけで
あり、一方台部１内には電源回路およびインター
フエイス等の構成要素が取付けられている。この
ような分割を行なうことにより、台部１をスクリ
ーン部２に対して充分に有効なバランスウエイト
として構成することができるということが保証さ
れる。平形デイスプレイ自身はドイツ連邦共和国
特許出願公開第181127号公報において述べられて
いる表示原理に基づいて動作する。すなわち、こ
の表示原理は、背後の空間内で燃えているプラズ
マが電子を供給し、この電子が制御板の選択され
た穴を通つて後ろへ通過し、そこで速度を速めら
れて、最後に蛍光面へ向けられるという原理であ
る。その際に、ドイツ連邦共和国特許第2412969
号明細書において意図されているようなガス放電
が背面の比較的大きな平面状カソードと制御板の
列との間でそれぞれ生じると、平面形映像スクリ
ーンでもつて同様に多くの情報量がたとえばカラ
ーテレビの象のように商品質で表示される。
本発明は図示した実施例に限定されない。本発
明によつて提案された設計原理を捨てることな
く、装置ユニツトの形および寸法は変えることが
できる。たとえば、スクリーン部は決して台部と
同じ大きさにする必要はない。あるいは、回転ア
ームは、この回転アーム自身が電源部分全部の構
成要素用のスペースを提供するように構成しても
よい。

第１図ないし第４図は本発明の一実施例を示
し、第１図はスクリーン部を立てた状態での斜視
図、第２図は同じくスクリーン部を横にした状態
での斜視図、第３図はスクリーン部を立てて背後
から見た別の斜視図、第４図は第２図に示したデ
イスプレイ装置を下面側から見た状態図である。 １……台部、２……スクリーン部、３……回転
アーム、８，９，１１……窪み。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 長方形の底面を有し平らにして置かれる平盤
    状の台部と、この台部の上に備えられかつ前記台
    部に向く面と反対側の面に表示面が設けられた平
    盤状のスクリーン部と、長く延びた支持要素とを
    備え、この支持要素の一端部（台部側端部）が前
    記台部に固定されかつその他端部（スクリーン部
    側端部）が前記スクリーン部を支持して成るデー
    タデイスプレイ装置において、 (a) 支持要素は回転アーム３として構成され、こ
    の回転アームの台部側端部が前記台部１の上側
    の背面縁の領域に回転可能に取付けられ、その
    スクリーン部側端部が前記スクリーン部２の下
    側の背面縁の領域に回転可能に取付けられ、そ
    の場合両回転軸は前記台部１の上側の背面縁に
    平行に設けられ、 (b) 前記台部１の上面はその側面縁に平行に延び
    る窪み１１を有し、この窪み内に前記回転アー
    ム３が前記台部の上面と同じ並びになるように
    沈むことができ、 (c) デイスプレイ装置は、前記回転アーム３を前
    記窪み内に沈めかつ前記スクリーン部２を前記
    台部に対して垂直に立てた際、連続した平らな
    正面を形成し、 (d) 前記スクリーン部２は、このスクリーン部を
    後ろへ回して前記台部１に対して平行な状態に
    しかつ前記回転アーム３を前記台部の窪み内に
    沈めた場合に、その左右の側面が前記台部の側
    面とほぼ同じ列となつて前記台部上に置かれ
    る、 ことを特徴とするデータデイスプレイ装置。 ２ 前記台部１と前記スクリーン部２とはほぼ同
    じ大きさを有することを特徴とする特許請求の範
    囲第１項記載のデータデイスプレイ装置。 ３ 前記台部１の下面は２つの窪み８，９を有
    し、これらの窪みは前記台部１の向かい合つてい
    る側面、特に前記台部の前面側の側面および後面
    側の側面を起点として形成されていることを特徴
    とする特許請求の範囲第１項または第２項記載の
    データデイスプレイ装置。 ４ 前記台部１は電源回路およびインターフエイ
    スの構成要素を含むことを特徴とする特許請求の
    範囲第１項ないし第３項のいずれかに記載のデー
    タデイスプレイ装置。
