It is conceivable to omit the standing state of the stud material A in FIG. 9. However, in this solution, if the stud material A is provided with the threaded portion AA, when the stud material A is press-fitted into the insertion hole 12, the stud material A (threaded portion AA) and the tip 1 (the insertion hole 12 ), a new problem arises in that it damages both.

is attracted and fixed in the insertion hole 12 by the magnetic force of the magnet 4 around it. In this state, when the stud material A is pressed against the plate material B and electricity is applied from the terminals 5 and 6, the molten protrusion AC melts and the joining flange AB is welded to the plate material 7, and the stud material A is attached to the plate material 7.
The work to plant it will be completed. The cooling water W is supplied from the inlet tube 26, and the supplied cooling water W passes through the tube 25, enters and flows out of the cooling hole 13 of the chip 1, and is discharged from the outlet tube 27. It cools the chip 1 and enables continuous power supply and machining.

In addition, as mentioned above, it is unnecessary to stand the stud material A, and the positioning of the stud A is done at the same time as the welding gun G hits the plate material 7. It is no longer necessary to form a recess D in the plate material 7, and from this point of view as well, the machining time is simplified. Furthermore, since the stud material A is fixed to the chip 1 side by the magnetic force of the magnet 4, even if the stud material A is provided with a threaded portion AA, both the chip 1 and the stud material A may be damaged. do not have.

As shown in FIG. 2, when the magnet 4 is attached to the bag-shaped attachment part 14, which is formed by drilling a hole from the outside of the chip 1 toward the insertion hole 12 and leaving a gap S to the insertion hole 12, It is possible to avoid the formation of an opening burr in the insertion hole 12 when a hole reaching up to the hole is provided, and this is effective in preventing damage to the threaded portion AA of the stud material A. Third
As shown in FIG. 4, when a plurality of magnets 4 are provided in multiple stages in the axial direction of the chip 1,
Due to deterioration of the dot surface 11, the tip was cut off (including the bottom magnet 4) and a new dot surface 1 was created.
1 is formed, the other magnet 4 remains, so there is an advantage that the fixing function of the stud material A is maintained. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the magnets 4 are installed around the insertion hole 12 in different directions so as to face each other, and as shown in FIG. By arranging and attaching the studs around the entire circumference, there is an advantage that the magnetic attraction force within the insertion hole 12 can be equalized and the stud material A can be accurately fixed on the axis of the chip 1 without tilting. According to this advantage, even if the shape of the insertion hole 12 is enlarged to accommodate studs A of various diameters, it is effective in preventing the studs A from tipping. As shown in Figure 5,
When the mounting portion 14 is provided around the entire outer circumference of the chip 1 and the magnet 4 is shaped like a ring with a portion cut out, the magnet 4 can be attached to the chip 1.
There is an advantage that the magnet 4 can be replaced in response to a decrease in the magnetic force of the magnet 4 due to heat or the material of the stud material A. 6th
As shown in the figure, when the magnet 4 is mounted so as to be embedded inside the chip 1, there is an advantage that the magnet 4 can be prevented from colliding with other tools or the like and being damaged during machining. As shown in FIG. 7, if the groove 4' of the magnet 4 is fitted into the protruding mounting portion 14 provided on the chip 1, there is an advantage that the magnet 4 can be replaced as in FIG.
