    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ２枚の相対向して配置された透明基板と、前記
    透明基板の間にセルを形成すべく前記透明基板の
    周縁部に固着されたスペーサと、前記セルを多数
    の微小部分に上下に仕切る多数の水平隔壁と、前
    記いずれか一方の透明基板の内面に形成された第
    １の透明電極層と、前記透明電極層と対向するも
    う一方の透明基板の内面または前記水平隔壁に形
    成された第２の透明電極層と、前記セル中の各微
    小部分に封入された高絶縁性の透明な分散媒と、
    前記各分散媒中に分散された帯電性の分散粒子と
    からなることを特徴とする透過型電気泳動表示素
    子。
