In order to collect the soil, the soil is first drilled to just before the stratum, then a hollow cylindrical liner with a pointed tip is inserted into the stratum, and the clay from the stratum is pulled out, leaving behind the viscous soil inside the liner. Ta. The collected clay soil, etc. will be retained in the liner and transported to the testing and analysis laboratory. During this transportation, vibrations and shocks are applied to the liner, which may cause the clay inside the liner to crumble from the ends. Conventionally, wax was filled into the liner on-site and solidified to close the liner.

When inserting, tighten box spanner 24 to nut 1.
It is preferable to do this after fitting the holder 26 to the threaded portion 16c. Once the bottom of the obturator 10 contacts the core, hold the holder 26 to prevent the bolt 16 from rotating and tighten the box spanner 24.
clockwise to expand the expansion member 20 and press the packing material 22 onto the inner surface of the liner 28. The packing material 22 is applied to the liner 2 with moderate pressure.
After rotating the box spanner 24 until it is pressed against the inner surface of the box spanner 8, the box spanner 24 and the holder 26 are removed. With the above operations, the closing of one opening of the liner 28 is completed.
