Prior Art Conventionally, an engine intake structure that aims to attenuate intake noise generated from an engine intake duct during operation has been described, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-109262 or Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-154522. It is known that a resonator is installed to attenuate the intake noise, as shown in the figure, and devised so that there are no problems with level-out. However, the devices described in these publications have a structure in which the intake sound generated from the intake duct is interfered with by a resonance box (resonator) to attenuate the intake noise, but the resonance box itself does not allow resonance to escape to the outside. Since no measures were taken to reduce noise, there was a problem in that the silencing effect could not exceed a certain level. Apart from these problems, the use of vacuum tanks has been increasing due to the automation of actuator vibration in recent years, and the arrangement of vacuum tanks for this purpose is also described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-56682. As a result, the problem of space needed to add new departments became unavoidable.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a resonator is connected to an intake duct to which an engine is connected, and a compartment having a duct connecting pipe is integrally formed outside the resonator. By using the compartment as a vacuum tank, the vacuum chamber blocks out the intake sound coming out of the resonator.

The internal space 13 of the resonator 11 is set to a size that interferes with the intake noise generated from the intake duct 5, and is surrounded by a compartment 15 on the outside.
Duct connecting pipes 17 and 19 are formed in the compartment 15, and one duct connecting pipe 17 is connected to the collector 3.
and the other duct connecting pipe 19 is connected to the master back 2.
1, and when the engine 11 is started, the interior of the compartment 15 becomes negative pressure due to the intake pressure, and functions as a vacuum tank 23. In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, in the compartment 15 functioning as the vacuum tank 23, in addition to the duct connection pipes 17 and 19, there are duct connection pipes 25 for the auto air conditioner, engine control, ASCD actuator, etc. , 27 and 29 respectively, and the compartment 15 has multiple functions.
The structure may be as follows.

According to the engine intake structure configured in this manner, intake air from the engine room 7 is taken into the collector 3 via the intake duct 5 while the engine 1 is being started. At this time, the intake noise generated from the intake duct 5 is attenuated by the action of the resonator 11. At the same time, the air in the compartment 15 is removed by the intake pressure of the engine, increasing the degree of vacuum.

Therefore, the compartment 15 reliably blocks the resonance sound coming from the resonator 11 itself, and since it is integrally formed with a vacuum tank for actuator automation, which has been increasing in recent years, The installation space can also be kept to a minimum.

Effects of the Invention According to the engine intake structure of the present invention, intake noise can be more reliably attenuated, thereby increasing the marketability of the vehicle. Moreover, the resonator and the vacuum tank are integrally formed. As a result, the engine room is less likely to be narrowed down, which in turn has a great practical effect of improving maintainability.
