A forming plate for winding the film 4 around the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical forming chute 1; 5 a vertical heat welding means for vertically heat welding the overlapping portions of both side edges of the wound film 4; and 6 a forming plate for the tubular film. A feed roll 7 is located directly below the forming chute 1 and feeds the tube-shaped film downward intermittently one bag at a time. This is a horizontal heat welding and cutting means that simultaneously cuts the middle part of the heavy heat welding part in the horizontal direction. By putting food or other items to be packaged into the hopper 8 that communicates with the upper part of the forming chute 1, the items fall and are stored at the lower end of the tube-shaped film that has been sent out in advance below the forming chute 1. When this is done, the horizontal heat welding/cutting means 7 is activated to heat weld the upper part of the packaged article storage part of the tube-shaped film to completely package the packaged product, and also to transfer the packaged product to the upper tube-shaped film. A bottom welded portion is formed to receive an object to be packaged which is separated from the tubular film and dropped into the tubular film. Therefore, next, the feed roll 6 feeds one bag of film down in preparation for the next packaging operation, and the vertical heat welding means is applied to the film 4 newly wound from the forming plate 3 to the forming chute 1. 5 works, and the article to be packaged is completely wrapped by the series of packaging timings described above. One embodiment of the packaging section 9 has the above structure.

It is known as disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 11972. In order to feed the band-shaped packaging film to the packaging section 9, as shown in the above-mentioned publication, a packaging film wound into a roll is rotatably provided in the packaging film supply section on the rear side of the machine body 1, and the packaging film is The film is continuously fed out to the forming plate 3 through the film feeding path in accordance with the packaging timing.

The wrapping operation around the cylindrical molded chute 1 must be performed manually, and the packaging preparation work is extremely troublesome, and the packaging work is stopped during that time, resulting in a reduction in work efficiency.

As shown in No. 55-20566, there is a device that uses a phototube to detect the end of winding of a packaging film, but since most packaging films are transparent, it does not have light-shielding properties, and the phototube does not The problem is that it is impossible to detect the passage of the object, making it impractical.

This is because it is not possible to feed out the wrapping film continuously, and the present invention aims to solve this problem by feeding the old and new packaging films continuously, even if they are made of transparent material.

In the automatic packaging machine which feeds the packaging film 4 by
A supply roll shaft holder 23 for supplying the packaging film 22 wound into a roll, and a supply roll 22
When the roll winding is completed, there is a standby roll shaft holder 25 which is connected to the standby roll shaft holder 25 and keeps the rolled packaging film 24 on standby until it is supplied; A roll winding end detection section 26 detects the end of roll winding of the supply roll 22, and a roll winding end section 22a of the supply roll 22 and a roll winding start end section 24a of the standby roll 24 are detected in response to a detection signal from the detection section. A configuration consisting of a thermally welded portion 27 that is connected by thermally welding is adopted.

A conductive elastic member 30 is inserted from the back side of the wrapped packaging film 22.
presses the roll or rod member 29 with the packaging film 22 in between, and since the packaging film 22 is non-conductive, when the packaging film 22 is interposed between the two members 29 and 30, both members 2
9 and 30 are in a non-conducting state, but the packaging film 2
When the end portion of the roll winding of No. 2 passes between the two members 29 and 30, the two members come into contact with each other and become electrically conductive. This conduction state is used as a detection signal from the roll winding end section 26, and upon receiving this detection signal, the thermal welding section 27 connects the terminal end of the film 22 and the rolled packaging film 24 which is axially mounted on the standby roll shaft mount section 25.
Since the starting end of the roll is thermally welded to connect the two, the packaging film 4 can be continuously supplied from the packaging film supply section 20 to the packaging section 9 through the film feeding path 21.

A bifurcated standby roll shaft holder 25 is provided at the rear upper side of the support frame 28, on which a packaging film wrapped in a roll is rotatably mounted as a standby roll 24. Similarly, a bifurcated supply roll shaft mounting portion 23 is provided, and a packaging film similarly wrapped in a roll shape is rotatably mounted on this shaft as a supply roll 22. The packaging film 22 pulled out from the supply roll 22 is sent out via a roll winding end detection section 26. That is, the packaging film 26 is a conductive detection roll or detection rod 2.
9 (FIG. 4a), and a similarly conductive detection contact 30 made of an elastic spring and protruding from the body 2 with the film 22 in between is connected to the film 2.
In this state, the detection rod 29 and the detection contact 30 are in a non-conducting state because the packaging film 22, which is a non-conductor, is interposed between them. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4b, when the winding end portion 22a of the supply roll 22 passes the detection rod 29, the conductive detection contact 3 naturally
0 comes into contact with the detection rod 29 and becomes electrically conductive with each other, making it possible to detect the passage of the roll end portion 22a.

とが熱溶着され、一体に連結される。 A heat welding section 27 is provided above this roll winding end detection section 26 . That is, a pair of heat-welded bodies 27a and 27b are provided on the fuselage 2, and one heat-welded body 2
7a is fixed at a fixed position on the fuselage 2, and the other heat-welded body 27b is attached to the actuating arm 27 around the support shaft 27c.
d, it can be driven to open and close toward one of the heat-welded bodies 27a, and is normally in an open state, but is closed upon receiving a detection signal from the roll end detection section 26. The starting end 24a of the roll-shaped packaging film 24, which is axially suspended on the standby roll shaft mount 25, is lightly secured to the upper end surface of the movable heat-welded body 27b via the guide roll 31 by an appropriate locking tool 32. The rolled packaging film 2 is mounted on the supply roll shaft mounting section 23.
2 passes through the roll winding end detection section 26, passes between both heat-welded bodies 27a and 27b, and is sent to the film feeding path 21. Therefore, when the roll winding of the packaging film 22 on the supply roll side is completed and the heat welding unit 27 receives a signal indicating that the terminal end 22a has passed from the roll winding end detection unit 26, the actuating arm 27d is activated and movable. The thermally welded body 27b is driven to close toward the fixed thermally welded body 27a, and the terminal end 2 of the packaging film 22 on the supply roll side sandwiched between both the thermally welded bodies 27a and 27b.

If the movable heat welding body 27b of No. 7 is locked, the wrapping film can be continuously continuously produced in accordance with the above-described operation.

That is, as shown in FIG. 5a, the packaging film 4 has markings 34 such as the quality of the product to be packaged, its intended use, the name of the manufacturer, the date of manufacture, and the pattern at regular intervals. Normally, printing is performed continuously at intervals of the length of one bag of the shaped packaging film 4. The device is provided with a means 33 for pulling the package and sending it out to the packaging section 9 side. Note that the feed roll 39 is the same as the feed roll 6 of the packaging section 9 described above.
It is designed to rotate intermittently in sync with the
The vertical and horizontal heat welding means 6 and 7 of the packaging section 9 are stopped when in operation, and rotate in synchronization when the cylindrical packaging film 4a is conveyed down the length of one bag. Therefore, when the feed roll 39 is stopped and the film is thermally welded by the heat welding section 27, by vertically adjusting the adjuster 38 of the film positioning means 33, the end portion of the packaging film on the supply roll side can be fixed. are slightly adjusted to the upper and lower positions, and as a result, as shown in FIG.
