Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] (1) A pair formed by forming a plurality of V-grooves on the upper surface of single-crystal silicon, and accommodating and arranging a plurality of optical fibers and alignment pins in each V-groove. In a multi-fiber optical connector in which two plugs are inserted facing each other into a housing and the end faces of the optical fibers are butt-connected, the mating pin is fixed in the V-groove using the inner surface of the V-groove formed on the silicon substrate. and a spring piece provided at the top of the V-groove. (2) The multi-core optical connector according to claim 1, wherein an optical fiber is adhesively fixed in the V-groove for optical fiber. (3) The multi-fiber optical connector according to claim 1, wherein the optical fiber is fixed in the optical fiber V-groove by a holding plate and a spring piece biased against the holding plate.
