(Prior art) Generally, when metal processing is performed using an electrical discharge machine or a wire cutter, machining fluid is circulated and supplied to the machining section, and the machining fluid containing impurities such as chips is contaminated. It is led to a tank where it is partially precipitated, then sucked up by a circulation pump and sent to a filtration device, where it is filtered by an element. In addition, the clean processing liquid after filtration is stored in a cleaning liquid tank and constantly overflows into the stock liquid tank.

On the other hand, the chips generated during metal processing are very fine, and therefore, in the case of an element designed to perform precise filtration as described above, fine chips are likely to accumulate on the filtration surface of the element, which is extremely fine. This causes the element to become clogged in a short period of time.

In such cases, the machining operation is interrupted and the element is replaced, but resetting the machining operation based on this replacement is extremely difficult and time-consuming, resulting in problems such as a significant drop in work efficiency. .

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention was devised to solve the above problems, and includes rotatably internally supporting a cylindrical filter element within a casing provided with an inlet and an outlet. A jet pipe extending in the same direction as the axis of the element is supported in close proximity to the outer peripheral surface or inner peripheral surface of the element, and liquid is jetted toward the element from a plurality of nozzle ports provided in the jet pipe. , the jet pipe is surrounded by a casing having a surface facing the circumferential surface of the element, the opening of the casing is brought into sliding contact with or close to the periphery of the element, and the lower end of the casing is It is characterized by being provided with a drainage outlet.

(Function) Thus, according to the present invention, while rotating the filtration element within the casing manually or by a motor, a liquid of the same type as the machining fluid is supplied under pressure to the jet pipe, and is supplied from the nozzle opening of the jet pipe. The jet is directed towards the element, and this blows off chips in the machining fluid that accumulate on the circumferential surface of the element, keeping the entire circumferential surface of the element clean at all times and preventing a drop in filtration efficiency. This prevents the element from clogging over a long period of time.
Moreover, the chips blown from the circumferential surface of the element are collected without being scattered inside the casing surrounding the jet tube, and are discharged from the drain outlet to the outside of the machine.

During the above-mentioned filtration work, while rotating the element 2 together with the rotary shaft 26 using the operation handle 27, a cleaning liquid of the same type as the machining liquid is supplied under pressure to the jet pipe 3. The liquid is sprayed toward the element 2 from each nozzle port 31 of the elements 2. As a result, chips in the machining fluid that accumulate on the outer circumferential surface of the element 2 are blown away, and the entire outer circumferential surface of the element 2 is constantly kept clean. That's what I do. Further, chips and the like blown off from the outer peripheral surface of the element 2 are prevented from dissipating by the casing 4, that is, they are collected in the lower part of the casing 4, and are taken out of the machine together with the drained liquid from the drain outlet 42. It is.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, when the filtration device according to the invention filters fine chips contained in machining fluid from an electric discharge machine using a filtration element, the filtration device rotates the filtration element and It is possible to keep the element clean at all times by spraying a cleaning liquid towards the element and blowing away the chips that tend to accumulate on the circumferential surface of the element, thus eliminating the need to replace the element over a long period of time. Furthermore, the cleaning of the element and the removal of blown chips to the outside of the machine can be carried out without interrupting the filtration work, and the overall working efficiency of the electric discharge machine can be greatly improved. be.
