Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 液晶セルと、該液晶セルの下方に配設されてい
て且つ下面が白色塗装されている透光性材料から
成る拡散板と、該拡散板の端面に対向して配設さ
れた光源とを含んでいる透過型液晶表示装置にお
いて、 光源として、ホールを有する基板上にＬＥＤチ
ツプを取り付けた表面実装型チツプＬＥＤが使用
されており、上記拡散板の少なくとも一方の端面
の光源取付け位置付近にて、該拡散板の端面から
ほぼ垂直に延びるボスが一体に植立されており、
前記ホールを該ボスに挿嵌させることにより、該
チツプＬＥＤが該拡散板に関して所定位置に位置
決めされると共に、上記ボスをかしめることによ
り、該チツプＬＥＤが該拡散板の端面に固定せし
められることを特徴とする、液晶表示装置のバツ
ク照明装置。
