動可能に支持されるヘツドレスト本体を備えてな
り、このヘツドレスト本体内には、前記左、右ス
テー部の少なくとも一方を把持する把持ブラケツ
トが設けられ、この把持ブラケツトは、そのステ
ー部を取囲む把持部の一部が開閉可能に構成され
るとともに、この開閉端部分に外部操作用ノブを
外方端に有するねじ軸が螺合して設けられ、この
ねじ軸の回動操作によつて把持ブラケツトの開閉
端部分を拡挟させることにより、その把持部内に
嵌挿されるステー部が、摺動可能な遊嵌状態とロ
ツク保持する挟持状態とで把持されることを特徴
