[Detailed description of the invention] (Field of industrial application) The present invention relates to an improvement of adhesive paper in which an adhesive layer is formed on the back side of top paper and the surface of the adhesive layer is protected with release paper. The present invention relates to an adhesive paper that can provide a label that retains a release paper on its adhesive surface even after the label is issued by various labelers.

(Conventional technology) With the spread of POS systems, adhesive paper has begun to be used extensively for price tag labels at supermarkets and process control labels at factories. In particular, handy type thermal recording labelers with built-in rechargeable batteries,
Because it is easy to carry anywhere, it is widely used in supermarkets for pricing work, etc. In various types of labelers, including such cases, adhesive paper has been used in which a release paper is provided on the back side of a top sheet of paper with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween. When issuing labels using these various labelers, use adhesive paper such as the one described above, and when issuing the label, tear off the release paper, issue the label with the adhesive surface exposed on the back, and immediately affix the label to the required location. On the other hand,
The peeled release paper is returned to the labeler to serve as a feeder for the adhesive paper within the labeler.
For this reason, as long as conventional adhesive paper is used, it has been impossible due to the mechanism of the labeler to issue a label while holding the release paper.

(Problem that the invention aims to solve) If labels can be issued with release paper still attached, it would be convenient to issue multiple labels in advance with one labeler and attach them to items later. . For this reason, there was a need for adhesive paper that would enable this type of work.

In order to do this, one idea is to apply more adhesive to the back side of the release paper of the adhesive paper and attach another layer of release paper to create a three-layer adhesive paper: top paper + release paper + release paper. However, in that case, an adhesive layer would be provided on the back side of the release paper layer that was initially provided on the back side of the issued label, making handling inconvenient.

In order to laminate one more layer of paper without using an adhesive, you can consider so-called dry lamination, which uses an adhesive, or extrusion lamination, which involves melting and extruding polyethylene resin, etc., but with dry lamination, the bonded parts are removed later. It cannot be peeled off, and even with extrusion laminates, the bonded parts cannot usually be peeled off, and even if it were possible, it would be difficult to control the peel strength to a constant level.

(Means for Solving the Problems) As a result of extensive research in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors formed a temporary adhesive layer on the back side of the release paper of the above-mentioned adhesive paper. We found that a solution could be achieved by doing this. That is, the present invention is characterized in that a release paper is laminated on the back side of the upper paper via an adhesive layer, a temporary adhesive adhesive layer is provided on the back side, and a carrier layer is laminated on top of that. This paper relates to adhesive paper. With the adhesive paper of the present invention, by adopting such a configuration, it becomes possible to easily issue a label with the release paper attached to the back side of the label.

The ethylene/vinyl acetate/wax adhesive referred to herein is composed of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion and a wax emulsion. By applying this adhesive in water to carrier paper, immediately bonding it to the back side of the release paper of the adhesive paper, and gently drying at a temperature of 30°C to 70°C, a temporary adhesive layer is created. form.

The reason why wax emulsion is mixed with ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion is to control the releasability. That is, if the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion is used alone, the carrier paper layer will completely adhere to the back surface of the release paper, and it will be impossible to peel it off later. Further, wax emulsion alone does not have sufficient adhesion, and the carrier layer cannot be laminated properly. For this purpose, it is necessary to mix 40 to 90% by weight of wax emulsion with respect to the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. If the wax emulsion is less than 40%, the releasability will not be sufficient, and if it is more than 90%, the adhesion will not be sufficient when laminated. The carrier layer laminated via such an adhesive layer can be easily peeled off, and the back side of the release paper of the adhesive paper after peeling off is completely non-adhesive.
Extremely easy to handle.

However, in the case of the adhesive paper of the present invention, the adhesive has temporary adhesive properties, that is, it holds the carrier layer on the back side of the release paper until the label is issued by a labeler, and forms an adhesive layer that does not exhibit any tackiness after the label is issued. If so, a temporary adhesive adhesive layer can be formed.

For example, when both the carrier paper and the release paper are glassine paper, the optimum coating amount is 1 to 5 g/m 2 . Also, slow drying is to prevent the finished product from curling, but especially if the top sheet of adhesive paper is heat-sensitive recording paper, drying at high temperatures is not recommended to prevent color development. Can not.

The carrier layer to be provided via the temporary adhesive adhesive layer can be formed using high-quality paper, coated paper, bleached kraft paper, unbleached kraft paper, single-gloss paper, cast paper, glassine paper, semi-glassine paper, etc.
As mentioned above, since it is desirable to form a temporary adhesive layer by wet lamination, it is necessary to have some degree of porosity. For this reason, film cannot generally be used. Non-woven fabrics or porous films can be used.
