Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a printer capable of printing on the both surfaces of paper at the same time by a method wherein a first printing part consisting of a printing head conducting printing on one surface of fed paper and a platen and a second printing part consisting of a printing head conducting printing on the other surface thereof and a platen are provided, and the first printing part and the second printing part are disposed so that the printing positions thereof are shifted to each other. CONSTITUTION:The perfecting printer is provided with a first printing part 13 consisting of a printing head 11 disposed so as to apply printing on one surface 10a of fed paper 10 and a platen 12 disposed so as to face the printing head 11 across the paper 10 and a second printing part 16 consisting of a printing head 14 disposed so as to apply printing on the other surface 10b of the paper 10 and a platen 15 disposed so as to face the printing head 14 across the paper 10. The first printing part 13 and the second printing part 16 are spaced a distance l from each other so as not to interfere with each other. Therefore, printing can be simultaneously applied on the both surfaces of paper using the first printing part 13 and the second printing part 16.
