た。 そこで本出願人は、実開昭55−4916号の二輪車
用ブレーキレバーにおいて、合成樹脂の把持片
に、操作ワイヤ端末の係合子を軸支する係止孔
と、該係止孔に連続して下面に開口する係合子挿
入孔と該挿入孔に連続して前面に開口する操作ワ
イヤ引出溝とを設けると共に、板金製の軸支片
に、前記把持片の下面に当接して前記挿入孔と前
記引出溝とに一致する係合子挿入用の溝を有する
頂壁と該頂壁の両側より下方に屈曲されてピン軸
支孔を有する左右一対の側壁とを設け、該軸支片
の頂壁をねじを介して前記把持片の下面に締着し
た構成のものを既に提案しており、これによつて
前記欠点を解消することができ相応の成果を収め
ている。 そして上記構成によつては、把持片に軸支孔に
連通する係合子挿入孔を形成しておくと共に、軸
支片の頂壁に上記係合子挿入孔と連通する溝を形
成してあるので、操作ワイヤ(ブレーキワイヤの
インナーワイヤ)を常に軸支片の下方から溝を介
し更に係合子挿入孔を通つて軸支孔に嵌込みセツ
トすることになる。 しかし、上記構成では、把持片に係止孔と共に
該係止孔に連通して略同じ溝幅で下面に開口する
係合子挿入用の溝を形成する必要がある。 そこで、係止孔と係合子挿入用の溝とからなる
空洞部分は大きく形成されるので、把持片を合成

ており、また側片31及び32にはそれぞれ対向
位置に枢軸Pを取付けるための孔部H2,H3が
それぞれ透設されている。 またグリツプ取着片部35には、その前方側に
弧状に湾曲すると共に中央に縦溝を有する爪状突
起からなる前方係止片7Aが形成されており、後
述の収納部60Bに掛止められたブレーキワイヤ
Wの係合子(タイコ)Tの下部が回転可能に掛止
められる。 またグリツプ取着片部35の後方側には、下方
へアールに延出するプレート状の後方係止片7B

対応する凹部からなつてそれらが〓間なく嵌込ま
れている。 従つて、グリツプ4はグリツプ取着片部35と
前方係止片7A及び後方係止片7Bとの係合によ
り左右方向にずれる虞がない。 また、このグリツプ4は、外部で拡開し内壁側
が水平に形成された開口部41と該開口部41か
ら内側に貫通する貫通孔42とを有してなり、前
記グリツプ取着片部35の孔部H1と貫通孔42
とを整合して締付ネジV1により一体的に固設さ
れており、後端側が自転車のハンドルHの延出方
向に沿つて後方へ延びている。 本実施例においては締付ネジV1の頭部乃至そ
の近傍の軸部は前記開口部41の形状に沿つて曲
折されており、締付時には頭部がグリツプ4の外
表面からは突出しないように形成されている(第
2図参照)。 そして、グリツプ4の前方側には、図示しない
公知の自転車用ブレーキ(キヤリパーブレーキ、
デイスクブレーキその他の制動機構)を作動する
インナーワイヤ及びアウターワイヤの組合せから
なるブレーキワイヤWを掛止める構成が設けられ
ている。 即ち、ブレーキワイヤ(インナーワイヤ)Wを
導出するための出入溝60Aと、上記係合子(タ
イコ)Tを回転可能に収納する連通孔状の収納部
60Bと、その延長方向に形成されて開口する挿
入孔60Cとから構成されている。 ここで収納部60Bの下部の一部は開口してお

貫通する枢軸Pによつて共に枢着されている。 尚、このレバーブラケツト2は、図示しないベ
ースを介して前記枢軸Pの中途部を縦に貫通する
取付ネジV2でクランプ2Cをネジ止めしてお
り、該クランプ2Cによつてドロツプハンドル等
のハンドルHにブレーキレバー1が取付けられる
公知構成からなつている。 そこで、自転車に乗つている使用者は、グリツ
プ4を用いて枢動部材3を介しレバー操作を行
い、枢軸Pを梃子支点として作用点となるブレー
キワイヤ連結部6に掛止められた係合子Tを介し
てブレーキワイヤWをブレーキ制動方向乃至ブレ
ーキ解除方向へ制御することができる。 また、この考案において、レバーはグリツプ単
独で用いても或いは、上記グリツプと共にセーフ
テイレバー(図示せず)を取付けて用いてもよ
い。 この場合セイフテイレバーは、前記グリツプ4
に掛止める掛止手段を有して前記枢軸Pに共に枢
着される。 或いは、セーフテイレバーは枢動部材3のグリ
ツプ取着片部35或いは側片31,32に固着し
て連動するように連結する構成を採つてもよい。 第4図にはグリツプ4の形状の異なるこの考案
の自転車用ブレーキレバー1を図示する。 グリツプ4の形状以外は前記実施例と同一の構
成であるのでその説明を省略するが、そのレバー
操作については前記実施例と同一の効果を奏する
ことができること勿論である。 なお、この考案においては、グリツプ4と枢動
部材3とは異なる素材で成型したが、同一素材で
あつてもよく、またその素材の種類はブレーキレ
バーに要する強度を備えたものであればその種類
を問わないが、本実施例の如くグリツプに合成樹
脂材を用いれば成型が容易となり、把持感触にも
優れ、且つコストダウンを図ることができ好まし
い。 また枢動部材の側片の一方又は双方はレバーブ
ラケツトの側壁の外側に沿つて嵌込まれる構成で
あつてもよい。
