Abstract

PURPOSE:To securely remove unnecessary images even if the sight of an operator varies by removing an unnecessary image between adjacent images by utilizing the polarized state of light from an image. CONSTITUTION:Outgoing light from an image 12 projected on a screen 2 passes through a 1st polarizing plate 4. The direction of the plane of polarization of this polarizing plate is polarized by 45 deg. around the optical axis on the side of the screen 2 about a 1st plane and a plane containing the light beam of reflected light 13, so incoming light 12 to a plane mirror 5 is linear polarized light having its plane of polarization at 45 deg.. The reflected light 13 of the mirror 5 is linearly polarized light having its plane of polarization at 135 deg. and incident on and reflected by a 2nd plane mirror 6. The reflected light 14 of this mirror 6 forms a mirror image to the reflected light 13 of the mirror 5. Then a 2nd polarizing plate 7 has its plane of polarization at 45 deg. around the optical axis on the incidence side to the plane containing light rings of the incoming light 13 and reflected light 14 of a mirror 6, so an erect light image 15 formed with the reflected light 1 of the mirror 6 can be observed, but even if the sight of the operator varies, the mirror image formed with the reflected light 13 of the mirror 5 becomes invisible.

[Prior Art] There are cases where it is necessary to reflect an image on a mirror and perform vA detection. For example, in the case of a remote control device, there is a large number of controls in the work environment. When a rake is placed in the manibus, and an operator in a so-called operation environment located far from the work environment operates the manibus 1 rake, the visual condition of the work environment is clearly reflected by the ITV camera. [Problem to be solved by the invention] ] In this case, due to the operating environment, the operator cannot directly observe the screen of the f-isbrae, and for this reason, the image on the display screen is mirrored and the reflection of the mirror is The operator may observe the fJ4 image for 1J.

to communicate. The observer will observe the reflected image on the plane 1ffl 05. However, when observing the plane ti 105, the adjacent plane mirror 104 also comes into the observer's field of vision, and the reflected image is also visible.
Confusion is likely to occur. In order to prevent this confusion, it is necessary to block unnecessary images, that is, the counterfeit images of Heiji II 04, from the operator's vision, and for this purpose, a plate 107 is provided. Even with this, if the position of the operator's line of sight shifts even a little, Heijichin 104 will change the operator's line of sight. J2
In addition, in the case of a reflection image observation device that uses only the plane mirror 1fl104, the plane mirror 104 is the object of observation, but in this case, the adjacent screen 103
is easily visible to the operator.

[A Thousand Steps to Solve the Problem] Corresponding to this purpose, the reflection image observation device of the present invention has the following features:
A first linear polarizing plate, at least one plane mirror, and a second linear polarizing plate are rearranged in an optical path that reaches directly from the screen to the observation distance l, and the first linear polarizing plate 1.1 has a polarization plane. It is characterized by being configured to form a predetermined angle with respect to a plane that includes the optical axis of the incident light and reflected light of the nearest plane mirror.

The direction of the polarization plane in the erect image is the same as the output side image of the first linear polarizer, and the direction of the polarization plane in the 11th image is It is perpendicular to the image. Therefore, by selecting the direction of the polarization plane of the second linear polarizing plate, either the erect image or the at image can be hidden and removed.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a reverse image recording and observation device, and the reverse image observation device 1 is in an observation position where a display screen 2 expressing an image and the observer's eyes are positioned. ! An optical path is established between the two. A first linear polarizing plate 4, a first plane 11I5, a second plane 6, a second linear polarizing plate 7, and an optical system 8 are arranged in the optical path.

The image on screen 2 is the first one! The reflected light from the first plane mirror 5 enters the first plane mirror 5 through the polarizing plate 4, and the reflected light from the second plane mirror 6 passes through the second linear polarizing plate 7. The optical system 8 is reached. The direction of the polarization plane of the second linearly polarizing plate 7 is the same as that of the first linearly polarizing plate 4.

The light emitted from the image 11 projected on the screen 2 passes through the first polarizing plate 4. The direction of the polarization plane of the first polarizing plate 4 is at an angle of 45° around the optical axis on the screen 2 side with respect to the plane containing the optical axes of the human light 12 and anti-anatomy light 13 of the first plane 5. Therefore, the incident light 12 to the first plane mirror 5 is linearly polarized light with a polarization plane of 45°.

and vA(s!), so it is linearly polarized light with a polarization plane of 135°. This reflected light 13 enters the second plane mirror 6 and is reflected. The light 14 has a mirror image relationship with the anti-copper light 13 of the first plane mirror 5, that is, iEffm1 with respect to the image on the screen 2.
There is a relationship of 5. And, the polarization plane of anti-sword light 14 is 45 again.
It is linearly polarized light with an angle of .

The second polarizing plate 7, like the first linear polarizing plate, has a polarization plane around the optical axis on the copper side with respect to the plane containing the optical axes of the incident light 13 and the reflected light 14 of the second plane mirror 6. In this case, the image on the screen 2 can be observed through the second linear polarizing plate, but this screen 2 is shielded from the observation position 3 by installing a small shielding plate 16 (only 1 minute). For practical purposes, there is no problem.

[Effect beam of H emission] In this way, since the present invention utilizes the polarization state of light from images to remove unnecessary images among adjacent images, a shielding plate is not required for adjacent images. Therefore, unnecessary picture frames can be reliably removed without changing the operator's line of sight. In addition, in the embodiment described above, the image is reflected by an even number of plane mirrors (OJ), but for an image that is reflected an odd number of times by using an odd number of plane mirrors, the direction of the polarization plane of the second polarizing plate is IN can be determined by rotating it by 90'' from that in the embodiment.
