Therefore, if these used processing liquids (overflow liquids) can be utilized and reused as replenishing liquids, the above problems will be solved, and the effective components remaining in the overflow liquids will also be reused. Therefore, the amount of chemicals used can be reduced compared to the case where a new replenisher is used, and further cost reduction can be achieved. Therefore, in order to make it possible to reuse used processing solutions, regeneration procedures generally involve redressing the fluctuations that occurred during processing, i.e., removing accumulated components that affect photographic performance, and then expending them. Many studies have been conducted on so-called regeneration technology, in which the missing precepts are added and used again as a replenisher.

定性に問題があることが判った。Various studies have been conducted on such recycling techniques for bleach-fix solutions used in the processing of color photographic materials. Bleach-fix solutions generally contain chemicals that have at least three functions: iron akinoboricarboxylate (I[[) tit form as a bleaching agent, thiosulfate as a fixing agent, and sulfite as a preservative. Contains. The overflow solution of the bleach-fix solution further contains silver ions produced by the desilvering action and components of the color developer brought in from the previous bath. At the same time, it contains iron(II) a<noboricarboxylate, which is produced by oxidizing silver to silver ions. As mentioned above, regeneration technology generally requires the removal of harmful accumulated precepts and the addition of insufficient precepts, but the problem is how to effectively remove accumulated precepts, and as a means to solve this problem, Various regeneration methods have been proposed to remove or reduce silver ions generated by desilvering, as described below. The method of contacting with metal iron (steel wool) is described in Radiography 29, 256-25.
9 (1963), Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 483624, etc. In this method, silver ions are recovered as metallic silver through contact with metallic iron, and the silver ion concentration can be reduced.
At the same time, metal iron has strong reducing properties! (II) Since it is eluted as ions, the oxidizing power of the bleach-fix solution decreases, and during repeated regeneration, metallic iron dissolves, leading to severe fluctuations in iron ion concentration, making stable concentration control difficult. This problem becomes more likely to occur as the silver ion concentration is reduced. In addition, a method for reducing and recovering silver ions by electrolysis is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-40491 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 51-1953.
No. 5, No. 51-36136, U.S. Patent No. 4014764
It is stated in the number etc. In this case, iron (■
) complex is simultaneously reduced to an iron (It) complex, and sinomite ions are oxidized to sulfate ions at the anode.
The degree of fatigue of the liquid becomes significant, and at the same time, the stability of the liquid decreases. This problem also becomes more pronounced as the amount of current is increased, the silver recovery rate is increased, and the silver ion concentration in the bleach-fix solution is reduced. Also, using ion exchange resin! ! ! The technology to adsorb and remove complexes was developed by J. Appl. Pho
togr. Eng. 6:14-18 (1980),
SMPTE J. Average: 800-807 (1984
). It is described in etc. However, in this method, it is necessary to liberate the adsorbed iron complex from the resin and regenerate the resin, so it is difficult to operate. In addition, the amount of waste liquid is large, and the running cost is not satisfactory. As described above, with the technology of removing or reducing unnecessary components from used processing liquid and reusing it, it is generally difficult to ultimately control or analyze the fraction ratio, and the operation is complicated, making it difficult to use recycling equipment. It also has the disadvantage of becoming larger. Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-33697 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 50445231
The issue discloses a technology that regenerates overflow liquid by relatively reducing the equilibrium accumulation of silver ions through dilution, etc., as necessary, rather than actively removing silver. This method requires special silver recovery equipment)' and is a simple and inexpensive method because it can be recycled. (Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, simply using this method causes a delay in desilvering due to the accumulation of silver halide eluted from the light-sensitive material, especially the accumulation of silver bromide eluted in large amounts, and the accumulation of sulfate. It has been found that there is a problem in the stability of running performance because undesirable stains and poor color restoration are likely to occur due to the accumulation of developer components.

n) accumulation, and furthermore, the accumulation of developer additives, or the sulfate 1Wi produced as a result of oxidation of sulfite ions, etc., which interact in a complex manner or work together harmoniously to delay desilvering. This is thought to be due to leucoization of the cyan dye (resulting in poor color recovery), deterioration of image storage stability, and especially thermal fading of the cyan dye. This becomes especially noticeable in rapid processing. Therefore, it is generally difficult to develop a technology for regenerating overflow liquids, but regenerating bleach-fixing liquids is particularly difficult because their content, accumulation, and amount interact in a complex manner. On the other hand, for the purpose of speeding up color development and/or reducing the amount of replenishment, there is a method for processing a color photographic material containing a silver chloride emulsion in place of the conventionally widely used bromide-based emulsion or silver iodide emulsion. It has been known. For example, International Publication WO 87-04534 describes a method for rapidly processing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material with high silver chloride using a color developer that does not actually contain sulfite ions or Henzyl alcohol. . Also, JP-A-61-70
No. 552 describes a method for reducing replenishment of the developer by using a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material with high chloride content and adding an amount of replenishment that does not cause overflow to the developing bath during development.
Self-published. In this way, when silver halide color light-sensitive materials with particularly high silver chloride content are used, color development can be speeded up and the amount of replenishment can be increased.
.. This is advantageous because liquefaction can be achieved.6However, halogen with such a high silver chloride content? When a bleach-fix solution like the one mentioned above is repeatedly recycled and used with a silver color photosensitive material,
In particular, it has been found that development is not stopped sufficiently in the bleach-fixing bath, resulting in so-called bleach bleed and significant I152 silver defects.

The light-sensitive material contains at least one silver chloride or silver chlorobromide emulsion layer with an average silver bromide content of 10 mol % or less, and the color developer has an average silver bromide content of 1.0 xio-' to 1.0 xio-'. A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing bromine ions of 3 mol/l of O It was found that the problem can be solved by the following processing method. According to the present invention, the bromine ion concentration in the color developer is adjusted i. ox
io-' ~ l x 101 mol/l, even if the used processing solution is reused (regenerated) in the next bleach-fixing process, the so-called bleach capri (increase in minimum concentration) can be suppressed; Furthermore, it was found that the rooting tendency also increased.

ていない。On the other hand, JP-A No. 63-106655 discloses that the concentration of small chlorine ions used in the production of rabbits is specified in the developer, and the maximum concentration is increased by using it in combination with a specific hydroxylamine compound. It is stated that the amount of fluid replenishment can be reduced. However, the basis of this technology is to suppress as much as possible the elution of bromide ions, which have a strong inhibitory effect, into the developer by using a certain silver halide photosensitive material from an emulsion with a high silver chloride content. This is clearly distinguished from the present invention, which adjusts the concentration of bromide ions to a constant (and relatively high) concentration. In addition, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 116639 discloses that by specifying the chlorine ion concentration in the developer and using a developer that does not substantially contain sulfite ions, it is possible to increase fog due to continuous processing and to avoid poor removal. However, there is no suggestion regarding the bromide ion concentration in the developer.

According to the present invention, by controlling the concentration of bromide ions, which act to inhibit development, in the developer to a relatively high concentration, it is presumed that development in the bleach-fixing bath can be easily stopped.

However, by controlling the bromide ion concentration in the developer to a relatively high concentration, the desilvering defects can be significantly improved. This is probably due to the fact that high silver chloride development roots, which are normally difficult to form into filaments and therefore are difficult to bleach, become more filament-like in development under such high concentrations of bromide ions, increasing their surface area. It is estimated that this will improve performance. The color developer used in the present invention will be explained in detail below. In the present invention, the color developer is 1. OX10-'~
It is necessary to contain 1.0 XIO-'' mol/Q of bromide ions, preferably 1.5
It is in the range of 0-'mol/Il. Bromine ion concentration is 18
If it is less than 0xIO-4 mol/l, the effect of the present invention cannot be sufficiently obtained, and 1. O Here, the bromine ion may be added directly to the color developer, or may be eluted from the photosensitive material in the developer. When added directly to color developers, bromide ion supplying materials include sodium bromide, potassium bromide, ammonium bromide, nickel bromide, magnesium bromide, manganese bromide, calcium bromide, and cadmium bromide. However, the preferred ones are sodium bromide and potassium bromide. When eluting from a light-sensitive material in a developer, it may be supplied from a silver chlorobromide emulsion or from a fluorescent brightener. Furthermore, the amount of developer replenishment may be adjusted to achieve the bromide ion concentration of the present invention. Generally, the higher the silver chloride content, the smaller the developer replenishment amount can be. In addition, in the present invention, the chloride ion concentration in the developer is also 3. OX10-'' to 3.QXIO-' mol/l, particularly 5X10-2 to 0.2 mol/l, is preferable in order to achieve the effects of the present invention. The coloring agent used in the development process of the light-sensitive material of the present invention. The developing solution is preferably an alkaline aqueous solution containing an aromatic primary amine color developing agent as a main component. As the color developing agent, amine phenol compounds are also useful, but p-phenylenediamine compounds are preferred. are preferably used, and representative examples thereof include 3-methyl-4-amino-N,N-diethylaniline, 3-methyl-4-amino-N-ethyl-N

-methoxyethylaniline and their sulfates, hydrochlorides or p-}luenesulfonates. Two or more of these compounds can be used in combination depending on the purpose. The color developer may contain ρH buffers such as alkali metal carbonates, borates or phosphates, development inhibitors such as bromide salts, iodide salts, penzimidazoles, penzothiazoles or merkabut compounds or PJIa or It generally contains antifoggants, etc. In addition, if necessary, hydroxylamine, diethylhydroxylamine,

This black and white developer may contain known black and white developing agents such as dihydroxybenzenes such as hydroquinone, 3-virazolidones such as 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone, or aminophenols such as N-methyl-p-aminophenol, alone or Can be used in combination. These color developing solutions and black and white developing solutions generally have a pn of 9 to 12. The amount of replenishment of these developing solutions depends on the color photographic light-sensitive material to be processed, but is generally 3 liters or less per square meter of the light-sensitive material, and in the present invention, it is preferably 200 ml or less, more preferably 30 to 100 ml. be. When reducing the amount of replenishment, it is preferable to prevent evaporation of the liquid and air oxidation by reducing the area of contact with the air in the processing tank. Furthermore, the amount of replenishment can be reduced by using means for suppressing the accumulation of bromide ions in the developer.

The bleaching treatment in the present invention may be performed simultaneously with the fixing treatment (bleach-fixing treatment). In addition, even in a processing method in which bleach-fixing is performed after bleaching, processing in two continuous bleach-fixing baths, fixing before bleach-fixing, or bleaching after bleach-fixing may also be used. Although it can be carried out as desired, bleaching is preferably carried out immediately after color development.

Can be used widely. Preservatives for bleach-fix solutions are preferably sulfites, bisulfites, sulfinic acid necks or carbonyl bisulfite adducts. Furthermore, buffering agents, optical brighteners, chelating agents, antifoaming agents, antifungal agents, etc. may be added as necessary. In the present invention, a used bleach-fix solution (overflow solution) contains a regenerating agent and is reused as a recycled bleach-fix replenisher. The regenerating replenisher can be prepared using known methods such as JP-A No. 48-3624 and U.S. Pat.
The steel wool method described in US Pat. No. 065313, the electrolytic method described in US Pat. It may be used after removing or reducing it using methods such as the above, or it may be used as a regenerating replenisher by simply adding a regenerating agent without using these methods. In particular, a method in which the regenerated replenisher is prepared by simply adding a regenerating agent without performing a method for removing or reducing silver ions or the like is preferable from the viewpoint of simplicity. The regenerating agent is
In principle, it is added to the overflow solution for the purpose of replenishing the amount consumed during the bleach-fixing process.

.. ) It is stored in a tank, etc., and when a certain amount has accumulated, it is added to the overflow liquid and prepared as a replenishment liquid. Overflow liquid can be reused any number of times. Further, if necessary, the accumulated components can be removed after a certain period of time using a known method such as the one described above. The replenishment amount of these replenishers in the bleach-fixing process, and therefore the overflow amount, is 30 Iji to 11 per 11 photosensitive materials.
500-1, particularly preferably 6M-25 (ld).Since the effect of the present invention becomes more pronounced as the processing speed increases, the temperature of the bleach-fixing solution should be 20°C-50°C, and more preferably 30°C-50°C.
40°C, processing time is 20 seconds to 3 minutes, even 30
Preferably, the time is between seconds and 1 minute. The silver halide color photographic material of the present invention is generally subjected to a water washing and/or stabilization process after desilvering treatment. The amount of water used in the washing process depends on the characteristics of the photosensitive material (for example, depending on the material used, such as a coupler), the application, the temperature of the washing water, and the number of washing tanks (number of stages).
A wide range of settings can be made depending on replenishment methods such as , counterflow, forward flow, and various other conditions. Among these, the relationship between the number of washing tanks and the amount of water in the multistage countercurrent method is as follows from Journalof t

Problems such as this arise. In the processing of the color photosensitive material of the present invention, as a solution to such problems,
The method for reducing calcium ions and magnesium ions described in Japanese Patent Application No. 131,632/1988 can be used very effectively. Also, JP-A-57-8,542
Chlorinated disinfectants such as isothiazolone compounds, cyabendazole, chlorinated sodium isocyanurate, and other penzotriazole listed in the issue, Hiroshi Horiguchi, "Chemistry of anti-bacterial and anti-mildew J," edited by Sanitation Technology Society, "Microorganisms" Sterilization, sterilization, and anti-mildew techniques'', edited by the Japanese Society of Anti-bacterial and Anti-fungal Agents, can also be used as sterilizers. -9, preferably 5-B.The washing water temperature and washing time can also be set variously depending on the characteristics of the photosensitive material, the use, etc., but in the present invention, l5

The range from 30 seconds to 2 minutes is selected. Furthermore, the photosensitive material of the present invention can also be processed directly with a stabilizing solution instead of washing with water. In such stabilizing treatment, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 57-8, 543 and 58-14
, 834, 60-220, 345 can all be used. Further, following the water washing treatment, a further stabilization treatment may be carried out, such as a stabilizing bath containing formalin and a surfactant, which is used as a final bath for color photosensitive materials for photography. .. Various cattle-rate agents and antifungal agents can also be added to this stabilizing bath. The overflow liquid from water washing and/or stabilizing liquid replenishment can be reused in other processes such as the desilvering process. The silver halide color light-sensitive material of the present invention may contain a color developing agent for the purpose of simplifying and speeding up processing. In order to incorporate the color developing agent, it is preferable to use various precursors of the color developing agent. For example, U.S. Patent No. 3,342,59

-Vilazolidone may be incorporated. Typical compounds are disclosed in JP-A Nos. 56-64, 339 and 57-14.45.
No. 47, and No. 58-115, 438, etc. The various processing solutions used in the present invention are used at 10°C to 50'C. Normally, a temperature of 33°C to 38°C is standard, but higher temperatures can be used to accelerate processing and shorten processing time, or conversely, lower temperatures can be used to improve image quality and stability of the processing solution. It can be achieved. Next, details of the silver halide color photographic material used in the present invention will be explained. The silver halide emulsion of the present invention consists essentially of silver chloride.
Here, "substantially" means that the content of silver chloride based on the total amount of silver halide is 90 mol% or more, preferably 95 mol% or more, and more preferably 98 mol% or more.
From the viewpoint of speed, the higher the silver chloride content, the better.
The high silver chloride composition of the present invention may also contain a small amount of silver bromide or silver iodide. This can have many useful benefits in terms of photosensitivity, such as increasing the amount of light absorption, strengthening the adsorption of spectral sensitizing dyes, or weakening the desensitization caused by spectral sensitizing dyes. The silver halide contained in the photographic emulsion layer of the photographic light-sensitive material used in the present invention may have different phases inside and on the surface, may have a multiphase structure such as a bonded structure, or may have a uniform grain structure as a whole. It is okay to warn others. Also, they may be mixed. Silver halide grains in photographic emulsions include those with regular crystal shapes such as cubes, octahedrons, and tetradecahedrons, those with irregular crystal shapes such as spherical and plate shapes, and those with twin planes. It may also be a type with crystal defects, or a composite form thereof. The grain size of the silver halide may be fine grains of about 0.2 ξ microns or less, or large grains with a projected area diameter of about 10 microns, and may be a polydisperse emulsion or a monodisperse emulsion. Silver halide photographic emulsions that can be used in the present invention include, for example, Research Disclosure (RD), No. 1
