The present invention relates to a curable composition containing a polyoxyalkylene polymer having a hydrolyzable silicone functional group, which cures by absorbing atmospheric moisture. In particular, it relates to moisture-curable compositions that can be of one-component type. Blends of polyoxyalkylene polymers containing hydrolyzable silicone functional groups that can harden into rubber-like materials on exposure to moisture in the atmosphere have applications, for example, in architectural sealants. There are two-component sealants that are used after mixing the base agent and hardener immediately before use, and two-component sealants that are used after the base agent and hardener are mixed in advance under anhydrous conditions. They are stable in a sealed state and harden by absorbing moisture when exposed to the atmosphere. There is a one-liquid type. The two-component type requires time and effort to mix the base agent and curing agent.
Also, there are some difficulties in using mixed products, such as having to use them up within a certain amount of time.
Liquid types are much more convenient, as they do not require mixing and can be used after a while if leftovers are sealed, but their storage stability is an issue. Until now, methods for improving storage stability include:
A method of adding methanol to a compound and removing water by azeotropic dehydration (JP-A-55-73729), a method of adding a silicone compound or a siloxane compound having a hydrolyzable functional group (JP-A-55-73729); −
127460), but the former has the disadvantage that the operation is complicated, and the latter has the disadvantage that the cured physical properties are deteriorated. The present invention has discovered that the above-mentioned drawbacks can be improved by adding a hydrolyzed organic titanium compound or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof, and the present invention provides a one-component curable composition containing a hydrolyzable silicone functional group with good storage stability. This made it possible to obtain. According to the present invention, there is no need for the complicated process related to azeotropic dehydration operation, an azeotropic solvent recovery device, etc., and there is no need for expensive hydrolyzable silicon compounds as in the past. Moreover, the cured physical properties are also good, and the advantages are obvious. The hydrolyzable organic titanium compound or its partially hydrolyzable compound used in the present invention is a general term for organic titanium compounds that react in the presence of water alone or in the presence of a catalyst, and the molecular weight is particularly limited. However, 200 to 2500 are usually used. Specific examples of such compounds include Ti(O-iC 3 H 7 ) 4 , Ti(O-nC 4 H 9 ) 4 , Ti[OCH 2 CH(C 2 H 5 )C 4 H 9 ] 4 , Ti(O-C 17 H 35 ) 4 , Ti(O-iC 3 H 7 ) 2 [OC(CH 3 )CHCOCH 3 ] 2 , Ti(O-nC 4 H 9 ) 2 [OC 2 H 4 N( C2H4OH) 2 ] 2 , Ti(OH) 2 [OCH( CH3 ) COOH] 2 , Ti[OCH2CH( C2H5 ) CH ( OH ) C3H7 ] 4 , Ti(O −nC 4 H 9 ) 3 (OCOC 17 H 35 ), (n=1~10) (n=1~10) (n=1-10) i-propoxytitanium tri-i-stearate,
i-propoxytitanium dimethacrylate-i-stearate, i-propoxytitanium tris(4-
aminobenzoate), i-propoxytitanium tris(dioctyl phosphate), and the like. These compounds cause a condensation reaction with water originally contained in fillers, plasticizers, and compounding agents either alone or in the presence of a silanol condensation catalyst, thereby reducing the water content in the system in a short time. That is, the compound generally has higher hydrolyzability than the terminal silicon functional group of the polyoxyalkylene polymer, and thus acts as a dehydrating agent by first reacting with water in the system. In addition, a small amount of the remaining compound and its partially hydrolyzed product have the function of ensuring long-term storage stability of the composition. The amount of the compound to be used is such that the total number of moles of the hydrolyzable functional groups of the compound is the number of moles of water in the system, especially the number of moles of water brought into the system by the hydrolyzable polyoxyalkylene polymer, filler, and plasticizer. For the above-mentioned reason, the amount is required to be at least twice the total number of moles of water contained. However, if it is too large, it tends to reduce the physical properties of the sealant after curing and slow down the curing speed.
The upper limit is naturally determined based on the desired curing speed. In order to obtain normal characteristics, it is preferable to use an amount of 2 to 8 times the number of moles of water in the system.
More preferably, using 2.5 times to 5 times the amount makes it possible to obtain a composition with good storage stability and properties upon curing. In addition, a hydrolyzable titanium compound or a partial hydrolyzate thereof may be partially converted into, for example, Si(OC 2 H 5 ) 4 , The present invention also applies to the use of hydrolyzable silicone compounds such as: Examples of methods for adding these compounds include adding a hydrolyzable organotitanium compound or a partially hydrolyzed product thereof to a mixture of a polyoxyalkylene polymer having a hydrolyzable silicone functional group, a filler, and a plasticizer. can give. The polyoxyalkylene polymer of the present invention has a main chain essentially consisting of -R 1 -O- group (R 1 is represented by an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms), and at least one terminal is hydrated. Those containing degradable silicon functional groups and having a molecular weight of 300 to 15,000 are preferred. Here, "essentially" indicates that the main chain may contain a bonding unit other than an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a polymerized unit, but usually -R 1 -
It is preferable that O-units account for 50% by weight or more, especially 80% by weight or more in the main chain. The terminal hydrolyzable silicone functionality may include, for example, [Wherein, Z is -R-, -R-O-R-, -R-OC
(O)-, -RNHC(O)-, and -C(O)- (R is the same or different divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms), R2 is hydrogen or the same or different carbon Numbers 1-20
R3 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent organic group or triorganosiloxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R4 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent organic group or triorganosiloxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and R4 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent organic group or triorganosiloxy group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms. a saturated or unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbon group, a is an integer of 0 or 1, b is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, c is an integer of 0, 1 or 2,
m is an integer of 0 to 18]. A method for producing polyoxyalkylene polymers having such terminal groups is described, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No.
This is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 156599 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 123620/1983. The composition of the present invention includes di-n-butyltin-dilaurate, di-n-butyltin-dilaurate, di-n-butyltin-dilaurate,
Tetravalent organic tin such as butyltin diphthalate is used alone or in combination as an essential component.
Other metal organic carboxylates such as tin octylate, tin stearate, iron naphthenate, and lead octylate, and amine alkyl titanates such as laurylamine and ethanolamine can be used alone or in combination. The amount of the silanol condensation catalyst used is preferably 0.1 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyoxyalkylene polymer. Since the tetravalent organotin compound is a stable compound that has high catalytic activity and is difficult to be hydrolyzed, it has the advantage that the curing reaction proceeds smoothly even after the composition of the present invention is stored. The silanol condensation catalyst can be added, for example, to a mixture of a polyoxyalkylene polymer having a hydrolyzable silicon functional group, a filler, a plasticizer, and a hydrolyzable organotitanium compound or a partial hydrolyzate thereof. One method is to add . Fillers that can be used in the present invention include calcium carbonate,
Common materials such as kaolin, talc, titanium oxide, aluminum silicate, and carbon black are usually used in an amount of 0.1 to 300 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyoxyalkylene polymer. Plasticizer is DOP
(dioctyl phthalate), BBP (butyl benzyl phthalate), chlorinated paraffin, epoxidized soybean oil, and other conventional substances range from 0 to 200 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyoxyalkylene polymer. There is no problem in using these fillers and plasticizers at the moisture content normally available on the market. If you can reduce the water content with simple pretreatment,
Of course, it is also possible to use a material from which some moisture has been removed by heat drying, pretreatment, etc. In that case, the amount of the hydrolyzable organic titanium compound or its partial hydrolyzate added can be reduced. In addition, the composition of the present invention may contain various additives. For example, suitable anti-sagging agents include hydrogenated castor oil, silicic anhydride, or organic bentonite, and anti-aging agents include various substances classified as ultraviolet absorbers, radical chain inhibitors, peroxide decomposers, etc. They can be used alone or in combination. The composition of the present invention is disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No.
It can also contain reactive silicon compounds shown in JP-A No. 53-129247, polysiloxanes shown in JP-A-55-21453, and ultraviolet curable resins shown in JP-A-55-36241. The present invention will be explained below using examples. Example 1 80% of all ends

[Formula] 34 parts by weight of DOP, 140 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, 20 parts by weight of titanium oxide, carbon black
0.5 parts by weight, 4 parts by weight of hydrogenated castor oil as an anti-sagging agent, and 1 part each of Nokrac NS-6 and Sanol LS-770 as anti-aging agents, and kneaded in a sealed mixer until uniform. All of these raw materials were commercially available products and were used as they were. When the moisture content was measured after kneading, it was 2500 ppm. This was heated to 90°C and evacuated under reduced pressure (10 mmHg) for 30 minutes.
When the moisture content was measured, it was 700 ppm. Add 5.6 parts by weight of tetrakis(2-ethylhexoxy)titanium (the number of hydrolyzable functional groups is 4.0 times the number of moles of water), mix and stir uniformly, and then add di-n-butyltin oxide to DOP. 2 parts by weight of the mixture was added by heating and dissolving it in moles, and the mixture was stirred for 1 hour. When this product was stored at 50°C under moisture exclusion, it remained stable for more than one month. Further, when this material was exposed to the outside air, it was cured in one hour. In addition, as in Example 1, the H-shaped specimen was tested and the results showed that the 50% modulus was 3.3 Kg//cm 2 and the strength at break was 6.5.
Kg/cm 2 and elongation of 470%, which did not change much compared to the case where tetrakis(2-ethylhexoxy)titanium was not added (see Comparative Example 2 below). Example 3 80% of all ends 34 parts by weight of DOP, 140 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, 20 parts by weight of titanium oxide, 0.5 parts by weight of carbon black, and 4 parts by weight of hydrogenated castor oil as an anti-sagging agent for 100 parts by weight of an oxypropylene polymer having an average molecular weight of 8000. Part, Nokratsuku as an anti-aging agent
Add 1 part each of NS-6 and Sanol LS-770 and knead with a sealed mixer until uniform. All of these raw materials were commercially available products and were used as they were. When the moisture content was measured after kneading, it was 2000 ppm. Moisture content after exhausting in the same manner as in Example 2 was 510ppm
It was hot. To this, 4 parts by weight of tetra-n-butoxytitanium (the number of hydrolyzable functional groups is 4.7 times the number of moles of water) was added and uniformly dispersed.
1 part by weight of -butyltin-dilaurate was added and stirred for 1 hour. When this product was removed from exposure to the outside air and stored in a sealed container at 50°C, it remained stable for more than 3 weeks. Furthermore, when this product was exposed to the outside air, it became tack-free in 3 hours. In addition, as in Example 1, the H-shaped specimen was tested, and the results showed that the 50% modulus was 3.5 Kg/cm 2 and the strength at break was 7.8.
Kg/cm 2 and elongation was 450%. Comparative Example 1 A composition obtained by performing all the same operations as in Example 1 except that tri-n-butoxytitanium monostearate was not added was stored at 50°C in a closed container, but the composition thickened after one week. It was unusable. In addition, Example 1 was prepared without storing in an airtight container.
When an H-shaped test piece was prepared in the same manner and a tensile test was performed, the 50% modulus was 1.7 Kg/cm 2 and the strength at break was 1.7 kg/cm 2 .
The weight was 5.6Kg/cm 2 and the elongation was 680%. Comparative Example 2 A composition obtained by performing the same operations as in Example 2 except that the amount of tetrakis(2-ethylhexoxy)titanium used was 1.4 parts by weight (the number of hydrolyzable functional groups was 1.0 times the amount of water). in a closed container
It was stored at 50°C, but after one week it had thickened and was unusable. In addition, when an H-shaped test piece was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 without being stored in an airtight container and a tensile test was performed, the 50% modulus was 1.8 Kg/cm 2 , the strength at break was 5.9 Kg/cm 2 , and the elongation was 670. It was %. Comparative Example 3 A composition obtained by performing all the same operations as in Example 1 except that di-n-butyltin dilaurate was not added was stored at 50°C in a closed container.
It remained stable for over a month. However, when this material was exposed to the outside air, it did not harden even after 12 hours had passed, but it hardened after 24 hours. Comparative Example 4 A composition obtained by performing all the same operations as in Example 2 except that di-n-butyltin dilaurate was heated and dissolved in DOP in an equimolar amount was not added, and was stored at 50% in a closed container. However, it remained stable for over a month. However, when this material is exposed to the outside air, 12
It did not harden over time, but it hardened after 24 hours.
