    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ソース領域、ドレイン領域及び絶縁膜を介して
    前記各領域間に位置するゲート電極を備え、この
    ゲート電極を前記各領域の上に延在させて前記各
    領域と部分的に重畳対向させたトランジスタにお
    いて、ゲート電極とソース領域との間の重畳対向
    面積を、ゲート電極とドレイン領域との間のそれ
    よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする絶縁ゲート電
    界効果型トランジスタ。
