After cutting the electric wire 6, the grippers 11A and 11B are released, and the arms 28 of both wiring hands 16 and 17 are moved by driving the motors 14 and 15, etc., and the electric wire 6, whose ends are gripped by both fingers 55, is placed on the pallet 3.
Move to the wiring position above A. When transporting the electric wire 6, it is desirable to keep the distance between the two wiring hands 16, 17 constant at all times in order to prevent the electric wire 6 from becoming too tensioned or sagging. Therefore, in this embodiment, for example, the electric wires 6 at positions P 1 and P 2 in FIG. 14 are connected by both wiring hands 16 and 17.
When moving to the wiring positions indicated by P 3 and P 4 , the first
As shown in Figure 5a, move the wiring hand 16 from P 1 to P 3.
Then, after moving wiring hand 17 from P 2 to P 5 at the same acceleration and speed, wiring hand 1
By moving only wire 7 from P 5 to P 4 , excessive tension and slack in the wire 6 are minimized. Figure 15b shows the wire 6 from P 1 , P 2 to P 3 , P 4
In this case, too, after moving from P 1 and P 2 to P 5 and P 4 , one wiring hand 1
Move only 6 from P 5 to P 3 .

Next, a description will be given of the wire end processing operation in which the wire 6 that has been transported to the wiring position is stripped of its covering, molded, and then inserted into the terminal portion of the device. When the cutter 56 is closed at the same time as the wire reaches the wiring position, the circular blade 57 at the tip of the cutter 56 applies strong pressure to the end of the electric wire 6, thereby cutting the coating in an annular shape. Figures 16a and 17a show this state. Therefore, when the piston rod 37 of the air cylinder 36 is moved backward and the cutter holder 39 is moved outward, the blade 5
At the same time as the wire 7 strips off the annularly cut sheath, the engagement between the pin 48 and the stopper 47 is released, and the guide claw 51 rapidly descends along the guide rod 45 by the tensile force of the tension spring 50. The protrusion from the finger 55 is bent into an L shape. Figures 7, 12 and 16b, 17
Figure b shows this situation. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7, the V-groove 51a at the tip of the guide claw 51 holds and guides the core wire after the coating has been peeled off. Further, when the guide claw 51 is lowered, it descends while slidingly contacting the stopper 54 due to the bias of the tension spring 53.
After the end of the electric wire 6 is formed in this way, the finger holder 38, guide pawl 51, etc. are lowered integrally by the rotation of the motor 33 as shown in FIGS. 16c and 17c. , first first
As explained based on FIGS. 0 and 11, the electric wire 6

...is inserted between it and the wall surface. In this insertion operation, as shown in FIGS. 17a, b, and c, a step is provided on the contact surface of the guide pawl 51 with respect to the stopper 54 to form a plate cam. It is pulled by the stopper 54
By coming into contact with the lower part of the plate cam, the V-groove 51a of the guide pawl 51 reliably guides the core wire portion, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 17b. That is, the first
The guide claw 51 moves by an amount indicated by the symbol t in FIG. 2 to guide the core wire portion. Further, when the finger 55 finishes descending as shown in FIG.
The finger 55 is pushed up against the spring force of 0.
inserts the core wire into the terminals 65, 66 of the appliances 63A, and at this time, the stopper 54 comes into contact with the high part of the plate cam, so the tip of the guide claw 51 escapes from the wire 6 in the horizontal direction, and the guide Even if the claw 51 rises, the covering of the electric wire 6 will not be damaged.

When the wire connection is completed in this manner, the finger 55 is opened to release the grip on the wire 6, and the finger holder 38, guide claw 51, etc. are raised integrally by driving the motor or the like. During this upward movement, the guide pawl 51 is lowered by the spring force of the tension spring 50, but until the tip part leaves the electric wire 6, it escapes from the electric wire 6 by the action of the plate cam, so that the sheathing is not damaged. . When the finger holder 38 and the like have finished rising, the cutter holder 39 is moved slightly backward by the air cylinder 36, and then the air cylinder 40 is operated and its stopper 43 moves the block 46 and the guide claw 51.
If you raise the air cylinder 40 and let out the air,
The guide pawl 51 returns to its original state in which the pin 48 is supported by the stopper 47. The wiring cycle is then completed by moving the wiring hands 16, 17 to the position for receiving the next wire by the movement of the arm 28.
