Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 像担持体表面に形成された静電潜像を現像する
ための現像剤を収容する現像ホツパーと、該現像
ホツパーの内壁面に沿つて設けられた現像剤の残
量を検知する残量検知手段と、現像ホツパー内に
設けられた現像剤撹拌部材と、該現像剤撹拌部材
に一体的に取り付けられ、前記残量検知手段の検
知面を清掃する弾性もしくは可撓性を有するクリ
ーニング部材とを備えた現像装置において、 少なくとも前記クリーニング部材の移動領域に
おいて残量検知手段の検知面を現像ホツパーの内
壁面により突出せしめ、かつクリーニング部材が
前記残量検知手段の検知面に接触し、現像ホツパ
ーの内壁面に達しない長さに設定されていること
を特徴とする現像装置。
