せることにより、アルミニウム素管に付着した異物を短
時間で効率よく確実に除去し得る洗浄装置を提案してい

(発明が解決しようとする課題)
ところが、洗浄用ブラシを用いてアルミニウム素管を洗
浄すると、アルミニウム素管から洗浄液中に離脱した異
物の一部が洗浄用ブラシのブラシ毛群の隙間に入り込ん
だりブラシ毛群に付着したりすることがある。そのため
、アルミニウム素管の洗浄回数が多くなるとブラシ毛群
がそのごみで汚れ、そのブラシ毛群で摺接されて洗浄さ
れたアルミニウム素管に異物が再付着するといった事態
が生じる。ブラシ毛群から離脱した異物は、通常、塗布
液中に浮遊しており、アルミニウム素管を塗布液から引
き上げる際に、該アルミニウム素管に塗布液中の異物が
再付着するおそれもある。このようにアルミニウム素管
に異物が再付着すると、そのアルミニウム素管が洗浄さ
れたものとして、次の感光性物質を外周面に塗布する工
程に搬送され、該工程における感光性物質内に異物が混
入し、感光性物質とともにアルミニウム素管外周面に異
物が付着されたり、当初から付着した異物上に感光性物
質が塗布されることにより、感光性物質を均一な厚さに
