A cleaning device that is disposed so as to be immersed in a cleaning solution contained in a cleaning tank, and that has a group of brush bristles that come into sliding contact with the outer circumferential surface of the drum when the drum is inserted therethrough. A drum cleaning device comprising: a cleaning brush; an ultrasonic oscillator disposed to ultrasonically vibrate cleaning liquid in the cleaning tank; and means for causing the cleaning liquid to overflow from the cleaning tank. 2. A cleaning brush that is disposed so as to be immersed in a cleaning solution contained in a cleaning tank, and has a group of brush bristles that come into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the drum when the drum is inserted therein; An ultrasonic oscillator disposed to ultrasonically vibrate the cleaning liquid in the cleaning tank; a cleaning liquid circulation means for purifying and circulating the cleaning liquid in the cleaning tank; and a cleaning liquid circulating means to circulate the cleaning liquid in the cleaning tank. A drum cleaning device comprising: means for causing the cleaning liquid to overflow by injecting it near the liquid surface of the cleaning liquid.
