料の巻付け完了時直前に、タイヤ構成材料の後端をクラ
ンプ装置から解除することを特徴とするタイヤ構成材料
の供給方法。 2、回転する巻付けドラムと、この巻付けドラムの下方
に昇降可能に設置され、かつ所定長さのタイヤ構成材料
を巻付けドラムに供給する搬送装置とから成るタイヤ構
成材料の供給装置において、前記搬送装置上の近傍に、
タイヤ構成材料の後端を揃えるための検出手段と、タイ
ヤ構成材料の長さを測定するための測定手段と、ドラム
周速に対して搬送装置の送り速度を演算し制御する制御
装置とを設置し、前記搬送装置に、搬送装置と共に移動
可能なクランプ装置を設け、このクランプ装置は、タイ
ヤ構成材料の巻付け時には、タイヤ構成材料の後端を搬
送装置と共にクランプし、巻付け完了時直前には、タイ
ヤ構成材料の後端を搬送装置から解除するように構成し
たことを特徴とするタイヤ構成材料の供給装置。
