[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention is designed to ensure that plate-like objects such as lead frames, which are sequentially conveyed one by one, are conveyed one by one at predetermined intervals without overlapping or being interrupted. The present invention relates to a plate-like object detection device that easily detects whether a plurality of plate-like objects are overlapping, removes them from the process when they are overlapped, and replenishes them when they are interrupted.

(Prior Art) An IC lead frame has an extremely thin plate shape, and is formed with a large number of leads to be connected to an IC chip.
It has a complex structure and requires careful handling.

When such lead frames are sequentially processed or processed (for example, cleaning is performed as a pre-process, followed by plating), due to entanglement of leads in the previous process, etc., the lead frames may be fed into the next process in two stacks. As a result, there are problems in that defects occur, equipment troubles, etc.

Conventionally, to solve this problem, there is a double-layer discrimination device using a magnetic sensor, but with this method, the operation of the controller to adjust the sensitivity of the magnetic sensor is extremely complicated, and it takes a lot of time. Further, depending on the material of the lead frame, there are some that cannot be detected by a magnetic sensor, which inevitably limits the scope of application of the discrimination device, and furthermore, there is a problem that the detection accuracy becomes unstable. In order to solve these problems, the present inventors have developed a conveyor that uses a large number of rotating rollers to convey plate-like objects such as lead frames, and uses an arm to intermittently move the plate-like objects on the rotating rollers at predetermined positions. He invented a device for preventing the double stacking of plate-shaped objects by utilizing the fact that the moment acting on the arm changes depending on the weight of the plate-shaped object at the time of pushing up.

However, in this method, the plate-like objects such as lead frames being conveyed are fed onto a conveyor consisting of rotating rollers by a feeding device, and then double stacking is detected on the conveyor, so even if double stacking is detected, In order to remove it from the conveyor, it was necessary for the operator to do it or to install a separate device that performs the removal function.

(Problems to be Solved by the Present Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks and solves the problem of overlapping plate-like objects such as lead frames that are conveyed one by one, and vice versa. To provide a detection device for a plate-like object that can easily detect a state in which the plate-shaped object is not being fed and is interrupted, automatically eliminate the overlapping plural sheets, and replenish the plate-like object when the plate-like object is interrupted. Take it as a challenge.

FIGS. 4(A), (B), and (C) are explanatory diagrams showing the operating state thereof, and FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the state when the present invention device is applied to plate-like objects of different dimensions. . In the figure, la and lb are guide plates that are parallel to each other and whose mutual spacing can be adjusted, and grooves 2 are formed inside the upper edges of the guide plates 1a and lb, and in this part the plate-like object 3 The plate-like object 3 is conveyed along the guide plates 1a, lb in the direction of extension of the guide plates 1a, lb by receiving the plate and pushing it with a pusher (not shown). Reference numeral 4 denotes a holding plate, which attracts and holds a plate-like object 3 from a not-illustrated stanker which stacks and holds plate-like objects that have been processed in the previous step on its lower surface, and holds the plate-like object 3 above the groove 2 of the guide plates 1a and 1b. It is configured to perform an operation of carrying it to the groove portion 2 and dropping it into the groove portion 2. Reference numeral 5 designates a measuring element, which has a horizontal portion at the top, a vertical middle portion, and a laterally protruding detection portion 5b at the bottom. The middle part of the measuring head 5 is connected to one guide plate 1a via the slide unit 6.
It is held so that it can slide vertically on the outer surface of the
The horizontal portion of the measuring element 5 is inserted into a notch provided in the guide plate 1a so as to be vertically movable, and is configured to reach the position of the groove 2 of the guide plate 1a. Reference numeral 7 denotes a cylinder that serves to slide the probe 5 up and down, and the cylinder 7 is fixed to the lower part of the guide plate 1a.

Further, by operating the cylinder 7, the measuring element 5 reaches the lower surface of the holding plate 4 when the holding plate 4, which drops and supplies the plate-like object 3 to the grooves 2 of the guide plates 1a and lb, reaches a predetermined position. When sliding downward, the tip of the horizontal part of the probe 5 is in the groove 2.
It is configured so that it can be positioned lower than the A sensor 8 detects the amount of displacement in the vertical direction of the detecting portion 5b of the probe 5, and is fixed to the side surface of the guide plate 1a.

(Function) The function of the plate-like object detection device of the present invention configured as described above will be explained with reference to FIG. 4. The holding plate 4 adsorbs and holds the plate-like object 3 from the stacker in which the plate-like objects that have been processed in the previous process are stacked and held on its lower surface, moves to the top of the guide plates 1a and 1b, and moves to the top of the guide plates 1a and 1b, as shown in FIG. As shown in A), it stops directly above the groove 2 of the guide plates 1a and lb. Then,
The probe 5, which had been located below the groove 2, slides upward by actuating the cylinder 7.
The edge of the plate-like object 3 is sandwiched between the tip of the horizontal part of the measuring element 5 and the holding plate 4. (Fig. 4(B)) In this case, the holding plate 4 is held more firmly than the upward pressing force of the cylinder 7, so the holding plate 4 does not displace upward, and the contact point 5
When one plate-like object 3 is normally held based on the amount of displacement in the vertical direction.

On the other hand, if it is detected that a plurality of plate-like objects 3 are overlapped, the probe 5 is lowered to issue an alarm, and the holding plate 4 moves while adsorbing the plate-like objects 3 to a predetermined position outside the process. Eliminate in position. Then, the next plate-like object is sucked from the stunker again and the above operation is repeated.

It goes without saying that all of the above operations are automatically performed by the sequence circuit. Figure 5 shows plate-like object 3.
This shows the situation when the size of the guide plate 1a is small.
, lb are narrowed to match the dimensions of the plate-like object 3, but since the measuring stylus 5 is fixed to the guide plate 1a, it is always close to the plate-like object 3 regardless of the size of the plate-like object 3. Pinch the edges and do not damage the center.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above in detail, according to the plate-like object detection device of the present invention, breaks in the conveyance section of the plate-like object and stacking of multiple sheets can be reliably detected, and It is possible to always supply one plate-like object, excluding cases where the Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of defective products and equipment troubles in the next process. Furthermore, even if the material, shape, and weight of the target plate-like object change, detection can be performed simply by appropriately setting the sensor's setting value corresponding to the thickness of the plate-like object.
