The present invention relates to a quality-stabilized edifuenphos formulation, which has a quality that releases an unpleasant odor when the formulation is transported or stored, for example, when transported by sea to a high-temperature region for a long time or when stored under relatively high-temperature conditions. The present invention relates to a quality-stabilized edifenphos formulation that can easily and effectively prevent instability problems. More specifically, the present invention provides a quality stabilizing method comprising an agricultural and horticultural fungicidal active ingredient edifenphos (O-ethyl diphenyl phosphorodithiolate) and a quality stabilizing amount of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde. edifenphos formulation. Edifuenphos (generic name) is a well-known agricultural and horticultural fungicidal active ingredient called O-ethyl diphenyl phosphorodithiolate. It is an excellent bactericidal active ingredient that can exhibit a pest control effect. However, formulations containing the active ingredient, such as emulsion-type edifuenphos formulations, have problems with their quality stability, and cannot be shipped by sea to high-temperature regions such as Southeast Asia or India, or under relatively high-temperature conditions. As a result, despite its excellent disease control effect, edifuenphos preparations containing edifuenphos as an active ingredient do not work well under relatively high temperature conditions. It was found that there is a technical problem in that its use is severely restricted due to poor quality stability during transportation and storage. The present inventors have been conducting research in order to solve the above-mentioned technical problems regarding edifenphos preparations. As a result, the poor quality stability of the edifuenphos formulation accompanied by its unpleasant odor is due to the generation of thiophenol due to the decomposition of edifuenphos, and this poor quality stability is due to the excellent stabilizing effect of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde. We discovered that this can be prevented by According to the research conducted by the present inventors, the unpleasant odor of edifenphos preparations was later shown experimentally by giving comparative examples and examples in which other aldehydes, including related aldehydes, were used. 4-methoxybenzaldehyde specifically suppresses the quality instability associated with We discovered that this frees us from the troubles of transportation and storage. Furthermore, it has been discovered that the amount of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde used can be small, typically from about 0.5 to about 5 parts by weight, based on the weight of the edifenphos formulation, to achieve a satisfactory quality stabilizing effect. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a quality-stabilized edifuenphos preparation that can overcome the quality instability of edifuenphos preparations. The above objects and many other objects and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following description. In the present invention, the edifenphos formulation refers to O-
This term includes not only single agents containing ethyl diphenyl phosphorodithiolate as an active ingredient, but also complex agents containing O-ethyl diphenyl phosphorodithiolate in combination with other active ingredients. Preferred examples of such other active ingredients include O,O-dimethyl.O-[3-methyl-4-
(Methylthio)phenyl]thiophosphate, 2
At least one agricultural chemical component selected from the group consisting of -isopropoxyphenyl-N-methylcarbamate and 4,5,6,7-tetrachlorophthalide can be exemplified. The quality-stabilized edifenphos formulation of the present invention contains edifenphos and a quality-stabilized amount of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde, and may further contain one or more of the other agricultural chemical ingredients as exemplified above. The above quality stabilization amount is relatively small, approximately 0.5% based on the weight of the edifenphos formulation.
Generally, the purpose can be sufficiently achieved with an amount of about 5% by weight, but in cases such as abnormal occurrence of bad odor, it can be used in an amount exceeding about 5% by weight. Furthermore, 4-methoxybenzaldehyde may be added to the raw materials for preparing the edifenphos preparation, may be added at any time during the formulation process of the edifuenphos preparation, or may be added and contained after the completion of the preparation. You can also do it. The formulation method itself is known and can be used to form the agent of the present invention. or,
The dosage form can be selected as appropriate, and examples include emulsions, powders, and wettable powders, and capsules can also be used. The stabilized edifenphos formulations of the present invention, in addition to edifenphos and a stabilized amount of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde, can include other desired adjuvants and formulation aids, such as diluents (solvents, etc.). and/or fillers and/or carriers) and/or surfactants, and if necessary,
For example, stabilizers, fixing agents, synergists, etc. can be included. Here, examples of solvents include water; organic solvents such as hydrocarbons [e.g., n-hexane, petroleum ether, naphtha, petroleum fractions (paraffin wax, kerosene, light oil, middle oil, heavy oil), benzene, toluene,
xylenes], halogenated hydrocarbons [e.g.
Chlormethylene, carbon tetrachloride, trichlorethylene, ethylene chloride, ethylene dibromide, chlorobenzene, chloroform], alcohols [e.g. methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, propyl alcohol, ethylene glycol], ethers [e.g. ethyl ether, ethylene oxide, dioxane], alcohol ethers [e.g. ethylene glycol monomethyl ether],
Examples include ketones (eg, acetone, isophorone), esters (eg, ethyl acetate, amyl acetate), amides (eg, dimethylformamide, dimethylacetamide), and sulfoxides (eg, dimethyl sulfoxide). Examples of fillers or carriers include inorganic powders such as slaked lime, magnesium lime, gypsum, calcium carbonate, silica, perlite, pumice, calcite,
Diatomaceous earth, amorphous silicon oxide, alumina, zeolite, clay minerals (e.g. pyrophyllite, talc, montmorillonite, beidellite, vermiculite, kaolinite, mica); vegetable powders such as grain flour, starch, modified starch, Sugar, glucose, crushed plant stems; synthetic resin powder such as phenolic resin, urea resin, vinyl chloride resin, etc. can be exemplified. Examples of surfactants include alkyl sulfates (e.g., sodium lauryl sulfate),
Anionic surfactants such as aryl sulfonic acids [e.g. alkylaryl sulfonates, sodium alkylnaphthalene sulfonates], succinates, polyethylene glycol alkyl aryl ether sulfate salts; e.g. alkyl amines [e.g. amines, stearyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride], polyoxyethylene alkyl amines; e.g. polyoxyethylene glycol ethers [e.g. nonionic surfactants such as polyoxyethylene glycol esters (e.g., polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester), polyhydric alcohol esters (e.g., polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate); amphoteric surfactants ; etc. can be exemplified. By using the above-mentioned completely new technical means of the present invention, it has not only been possible to completely solve the bad odor problem of the conventional edifenphos preparations, but also it has been possible to maintain the quality of the preparations in a stable state for a considerable period of time. It has been confirmed that this method can be conveniently applied to long-term marine transportation to high-temperature areas and long-term storage. Next, the excellent effects of the present invention will be illustrated by the following examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Example 1 4-methoxybenzaldehyde, benzaldehyde, n-butyraldehyde, 3-methoxy-4
Test samples of each edifenphos 50% emulsion containing -hydroxy-benzaldehyde were prepared. Then, the quality stability of each test sample was investigated. Test samples were incubated at 40°C during sample preparation.
After being left for 1 month, 2 months at 40°C, and 3 months at 40°C, gas chromatography revealed that

A: 50% emulsion of edifenphos containing 1.9% of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde B: 50% emulsion of edifenphos containing 1.6% of benzaldehyde C: 50% emulsion of edifenphos containing 1.3% of n-butyraldehyde D: 2.2% of 3-methoxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde % content of edifenphos 50% emulsion Note that the content of the above aldehydes is the same. The test results are shown in Table 1.
