【発明の詳細な説明】
(イ) 産業上の利用分野
本発明は上下方向への首振と左右方向への首振

手とレバー等を組み合わせたものである。よつて
両首振機構が複雑となると共に左右首振機構のみ
を有する扇風機に比べて前記電動機への負荷が大
きくなるものであつた。また前記電動機が上下首
振を行なうことで、電動機支持部との距離が変わ
り、前記首振機構の伝達部分には特殊な機構を必
要とするものであつた。前述の点を改良した扇風
機として特開昭53−116972号公報に記載された扇
風機がある。該扇風機はネツクピースの上面にU
字状のアームを枢支し、該アームの両端間に扇風
機主体を枢支すると共に前記ネツクピースの上面
凹所内に小型モータを収納し、該小型モータのク
ランクと前記アーム間及び前記扇風機主体内に設
けたフアンモータのクランクとアーム間を夫々連
結扞で接続してフアンモータで垂直方向の首振を
行い、小型モータで水平方向の首振を行い、また
両首振の組合わせによる曲線軌道の首振をも行い
得るようにしたものである。よつて特殊な機構を
必要とせず円滑な首振を行なわすことができるも
のである。しかし前記小型モータをネツクピース
に収納しているので、該ネツクピースが従来扇風
機に比べて大きくなる欠点がある。また前記扇風
機主体の側面に前記アームとクランクと連結扞が
露出し、外観上好ましくないと共に窓際で使用し
た場合、カーテン等を前記連結扞に巻き込む等の
欠点があつた。さらに左右首振、上下首振の少な
くとも一方は電動機の回転力を減速せしめて得ら
れた出力軸にて行なわせていたため、停動はクラ
ツチ機構にて行なわねばならず首振停動制御機構

右首振用モータ装置と、前記電動機と取付板のど
ちらか一方に一端部が枢支される上下首振リンク
と、前記電動機と取付板の他方に装着され、前記
上下首振リンクの他端部が接続される上下首振用
モータ装置と、前記電動機後部に装着した支持板
に装着され、前記電動機、左右首振用モータ装
置、左右首振リンク、上下首振用モータ装置及び
上下首振リンク等を被う後カバーとよりなり、前
記左右首振用モータ装置と上下首振用モータ装置
を、前記電動機の後方に並置したことを特徴とし

に並置しているので、後カバーが小さくてすみ、
また前記電動機と取付板のどちらか一方に上下首
振リンクを枢支し、前記電動機と取付板の他方に
上下首振用モータ装置を装着しているので上下首
振リンクが後カバーから出ることもなく、扇風機
主体を小型化でき、さらにネツクピース部も小型
化でき、従つてコンパクトな、しかも使用し易い
