出来ると共に、上部主柱が下部主柱内に収納出来
るので身長計の不使用時の移動運搬及び保管に便
利であり、かつ折畳み式の踏台の使用により輸送
時の梱包をコンパクトに出来る等の優れた実用的
効果を有するものである。

筒内に、昇降自在に摺動する上部主柱を挿嵌
し、下部主柱の片側々面に、踏台の上面を0点
として正目盛尺を、又上部主柱の両側々面に
夫々上部を前記正目盛尺の最高値目盛寸法の目
盛を表示し、下端を最高計測値寸法目盛とした
逆目盛尺を、上部の上端表示目盛線が同一高さ
に位置する如く設け、上部主柱の上端部に被測
定者の頂頭接触面が前記逆目盛尺の上端表示目
盛線と一致する状態で嵌着した固定計測枠具の
昇降変位を、下部主柱の両側々面に上部主柱の
最高計測値寸法目盛と一致する位置に設けた照
準線により読取つて背丈の高い人の身長を計測
し、下部主柱に着脱自在に挿嵌した可動計測枠
具の昇降変位を正目盛尺の寸法表示値により読
取つて背丈の低い人の身長を計測することを特
