- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 被認識文字の認識処理を行なう読み取り部
と、前記被認識文字の修正処理を行なう修正部と
を備えて成る文字認識装置において、 前記修正部を、 前記修正処理時に、単語を形成する被認識文字
列の一部をマスク文字に書き換えた被照合文字列
を入力し、前記マスク文字をマスクして前記被照
合文字列を単語辞書と照合し、該照合結果に基づ
いて前記被認識文字列の一又は複数の候補文字列
を得る修正部としたことを特徴とする文字認識装
