(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a steel cord-reinforced elastomer product that uses steel cord as a tensile member for tires, conveyor belts, hoses, etc. and has particularly excellent tensile strength and adhesive properties. (Prior art) A metal cord for reinforcing rubber articles was published in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1986-
This is shown in Publication No. 30499. Figure 5 shows a cross section of the same metal cord.
Its construction consists of 12 single wires of the same diameter twisted together in the same direction and with the same pitch, and is a dense stack of polygonal profiles with uniform cross-section in the line direction. By the way, this type of metal cord is required not only to have tensile strength to strengthen the rubber article, but also to have adhesion to the rubber material at the same time. Although attempts have been made to solve this problem by creating densely stacked layers that exhibit uniform polygonal contours in the line direction, the latter problem results in insufficient adhesion to the rubber material due to the denseness of the polygonal contours with no gaps. As a result, the metal cord slides within the rubber material in its linear direction, resulting in a problem that the durability of the rubber article is permanently compromised. (Problem to be Solved by the Invention) The problem to be solved by the invention is to propose an elastomer product with excellent durability that satisfies both tensile strength and adhesiveness at the same time. (Means for Solving the Problems) The means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to use an elastomer material made of rubber, plastic, etc., in which steel cords are embedded in parallel. In the product, the steel cord has two or more core wires twisted with side wires in the same direction and at the same pitch to form a polygonal profile with a uniform cross section in the linear direction, and the diameter of the core wires is twisted to the side. With a ratio of 1.05 to 1.50 times the diameter of the strands, a gap is formed between the strands on each side constituting the polygonal outline, and the elastomer material is penetrated into this gap and bonded integrally with the elastomer material. It is characterized by what it did. (Function) Two or more core wires with a diameter of 1.05 to 1.50 times the diameter of the side wires arrange the contours of the side wires into a polygonal shape, making them almost dense, and creating gaps between each side wire in the polygonal shape. The elastomer material penetrates and binds to the elastomer material, thereby preventing the steel cord from sliding in the linear direction within the elastomer material. (Example) The elastomer product of the present invention will be described in detail below using a tire carcass as an example. A in the figure is a carcass which is an elastomer product, and this carcass consists of an elastomer material 1 made of rubber, plastic, etc., and a steel cord 2.
are buried parallel to the longitudinal direction of the carcass. The steel cord 2 is made by twisting two or more core strands 2a and side strands 2b in the same direction and at the same pitch to form an appropriately polygonal profile with a uniform cross section in the linear direction, and the core strand diameter D is 1.05 to 1.50 of wire diameter D 1
As a magnification ratio, each side strand 2 that makes up the outline of the polygon
A gap S is formed between each gap S, and the elastomer material 1 reaches and enters the core wire 2a into each gap S, and is bonded and bonded together. The direction of twisting is Z-twisting or S-twisting, and the side strands 2b are not limited to a single layer, but also include a double layer or more. A specific cross-sectional configuration of this steel cord 2 is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4. In FIG. 1, nine side strands 2b are connected to three core strands 2a within the above-mentioned magnification ratio than the diameter of the side strands 2b in the same direction and at the same pitch, and have a roughly triangular outline with a uniform cross section in the linear direction. The strands are twisted together in a shape, and a gap S is formed between the strands 2b on each side forming the triangular outline.
It is integrally bonded and bonded to the elastomer material 1 that has entered each gap S. In FIG. 2, eight side strands 2b are connected to two core strands 2a whose diameter is within the above-mentioned multiplication ratio than the diameter of the side strands 2b, in the same direction and at the same pitch in a roughly hexagonal shape with a cross section uniform in the linear direction. The strands are twisted together in a contour shape, and a gap S is formed between each side strand 2b constituting the hexagonal contour,
It is integrally bonded and bonded to the elastomer material 1 that has entered each gap S. In FIG. 3, eight side strands 2b are arranged in the same direction and at the same pitch on four core strands 2a that are within the above-mentioned multiplier than the diameter of the side strands 2b, and have a roughly rhombic profile with a uniform cross section in the linear direction. A gap S is formed between the side strands 2b constituting the diamond-shaped outline, and the elastomer material 1 that has entered each gap S is integrally bonded and bonded. In FIG. 4, six core strands 2b are connected to six core strands 2b which are within the above-mentioned magnification ratio than the diameter of the side strands 2b, and the six side strands 2b are arranged in the same direction and at the same pitch in a roughly triangular outline with a uniform cross section in the linear direction. The strands are twisted together in a shape, and a gap S is formed between the strands 2b on each side forming the triangular outline.
It is integrally bonded and bonded to the elastomer material 1 that has entered each gap S. The following table shows implementation data for steel cord 2 in the carcass shown in FIG. 1 and the conventional product shown in FIG.

[Table] The reason why the elastomer material penetration rate of the conventional product should have been 0% but was 10% is thought to be due to the variation in the wire diameter in microns. In the above embodiments, the carcass was used as an example, but other elastomer products such as conveyor belts and hoses also have excellent tensile strength and adhesive properties, and are highly durable. (Effects of the invention) Therefore, the invention has the following advantages. Located within the elastomer material and lower than the side strands.
Two or more core wires with a ratio of 1.05 to 2.0 arrange the side wires into a polygonal outline, and are densely stacked with gaps, making the tensile strength as excellent as conventional products. At the same time, it is also integrally bonded and bonded to the elastomer material that has entered the gap, and its strong adhesiveness with the elastomer material prevents the steel cord from sliding in the linear direction, resulting in high durability. Since the steel cords are twisted in the same direction and at the same pitch, and each wire is in line contact, the durability of the cord and the article itself is even higher. The space between the side wire and the core wire is filled with plastic through each gap, eliminating air and moisture that can cause rust, resulting in no rust and excellent durability. ing.
