[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a sheet-shaped sound insulating material, which is attached to the wall or ceiling of a building, for example, with an adhesive or a pressure-sensitive adhesive, to prevent the intrusion of outdoor noise. The present invention also relates to a sound insulating material that is effective in preventing sounds generated indoors from leaking outside. [Conventional technology] The main focus of conventionally available sound insulation materials and soundproofing materials is to absorb sound, and this type of material used in buildings, etc. is made of gypsum board. Materials with many air layers inside, such as those made of glass wool or glass wool, are often used. The air layer contained inside the material is effective in absorbing vibration waves, but if it is lightweight like glass wool and the air layer is not independent and is open to the outside air, a great effect can be expected. It is not possible. On the other hand, sound insulation materials such as gypsum boards and porous concrete boards require a certain thickness in advance for sound absorption effect and strength of use, which limits the areas where they can be used. There was an inconvenience in not being able to handle it. Regarding this point, the above-mentioned glass wool sound insulation materials and soundproofing materials are exactly the same, especially in the case of glass wool, which is lightweight, requires a large wall thickness, and cannot hold its shape by itself. Normally, it required special processing, such as wrapping it in a metal plate outer shell, to give it its shape, and there were restrictions on its shape. For this reason, the inventor of the present invention first filed a patent application in 1983-
No. 189133 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 59-78845) proposed a sound insulation board in which small metal pieces were fixed to the surface of a substrate such as a wooden board using an adhesive. The sound insulating board according to this existing proposal is based on a method of absorbing sound by the weight of laminated small metal pieces instead of absorbing sound by an air layer, and the effect is as explained in the examples. It was found that sufficient effects could be expected. However, the sound insulation board according to the existing proposal is a laminate of a substrate and small metal pieces, similar to the sound insulation board made of porous concrete, and has the required wall thickness, but is rigid and lacks flexibility, making it difficult to handle. limited in terms of
It had the disadvantage of not being easy to use. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention has been researched and developed to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, especially various defects in handling, and to find a material that has an excellent sound insulation effect. The first point is to achieve a certain sound absorption effect by having the required weight, the second point is to make it thinner so that there are fewer restrictions on where it can be used, and the third point is to increase versatility. The aim is to provide a sound insulating material that has been developed with the main objectives of increasing flexibility to improve workability, and further improving workability by making cutting easier. As was clarified in the invention of the sound insulation board proposed earlier, sound insulation is greatly affected by the weight of the material, but in this invention, small pieces of metal plate are tightly pasted on one side of the sheet-like base material. The required weight is given by using a fabric as the base material, and the thickness of the sound insulating material is reduced by using a woven fabric as the base material and thin pieces of metal plate. At the same time, it takes advantage of the flexibility of the base material, making it easier to handle. [Means for solving the problems] That is, in order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, the present invention has the following features:
It is characterized by having a sheet-like base material, such as a textile fabric made of glass fiber yarn, on one side of which small pieces of thin metal plates, such as galvanized iron plates, are adhered tightly so as to cover the entire surface with an adhesive. An object of the present invention is to provide a sheet-like sound insulating material, which is characterized by having an adhesive layer on the other side of the sound insulating material and pasting a release paper on the other side of the sound insulating material, which can be peeled off freely. be. Common textile fabrics are used as the base material, but textile fabrics made of glass fiber, which is a flame-retardant material, are used for the walls and ceilings of buildings, and from the standpoint of strength.
Alternatively, a knitted fabric is suitable, and a thin iron plate or the like is suitable for small pieces. This small piece is not limited to a specific shape, but it is desirable for it to have a uniform shape in terms of adhesion to the base material, especially from the arrangement.Generally, it is a circular scrap piece that is punched out and discarded in the production of perforated metal plates. is the preferred product in terms of uniformity of shape and economy. Now, as mentioned above, the sound insulation material of the present invention is formed by closely adhering small metal plate pieces to one surface of a sheet-like base material using an adhesive. It is required that each piece is bonded uniformly with one side of the material in contact with the entire surface of the material, and that the thickness of the entire sound insulation material is uniform. They are required to be arranged densely and regularly so that their edges abut. The adhesive layer formed on the other side of the base material with small pieces of metal plate attached to one side is used when attaching the sound insulation material to a wall surface, etc. Before use, cover it with release paper. During the pasting process, the release paper is peeled off and pasted directly. Note that the sound insulating material of the present invention may not form an adhesive layer, and in this case, an adhesive must be applied to the wall surface or the like in advance to adhere it, or it must be fixed with nails, rivets, etc. [Function] The sound insulating material of the present invention having the above-described structure can be attached to a wall or ceiling using adhesive, nails, etc.
Alternatively, it is used by attaching it to one side of a base material using a pre-formed adhesive layer and covering the entire wall or ceiling surface, and the wall surface etc. covered with this sound insulating material. As a result of attaching small pieces of heavy metal plates to the entire surface, sound from inside and outside the room is absorbed by this wall surface and blocked from passing through. This sound insulating material can be pasted on the outside of walls and ceilings, on the inside or behind walls and ceilings, and can even be spread inside the floor to cover and shield the entire surface of the room. Also, in addition to being pasted in a single layer, multiple layers may be pasted to enhance the sound insulation effect. Next, an embodiment illustrating a sheet-like sound insulating material according to the present invention will be described in detail, and its characteristics will be clarified. [Example] Fig. 1 is a partial plan view of a sound insulating material, and Fig. 2 is an enlarged longitudinal sectional view. Reference numeral 1 is a base material, 2 is a small piece of metal plate stuck to one side of this base material via adhesive 3, 4 is an adhesive layer formed on the other side of the base material, and 5 is an adhesive layer 4
It is a release paper that covers the The base material 1 is a sheet-like woven fabric or knitted fabric, and a flame-retardant glass fiber woven fabric is suitably used depending on the location where it will be used. The small piece 2 made of a metal plate attached to one side of the base material 1 is not specified in shape, but here it is made of a circular galvanized iron plate punched in the manufacturing process of a perforated metal plate, a so-called punching board. We use small pieces,
They are arranged on the base material linearly in the vertical and horizontal directions with close spacing between them, and are pasted so as to cover the entire surface of the base material. The small piece 2 has an important function in terms of sound insulation effect, and here a circular galvanized iron plate with a diameter of 6 mm and a wall thickness of 0.4 mm is used. The adhesive 3 for bonding this small piece 2 is applied to the base material 1 in advance.
It is applied to one side of the paper, and the individual pieces are pasted one by one without overlapping each other.A resin-based adhesive is used here. On the other hand, the adhesive layer 4 formed on the other side of the base material is for attaching the sound insulating material of the present invention to a wall surface, etc., and is applied in advance in conjunction with the application of the adhesive 3.
A release paper 5 is pasted and coated on its surface. The sound insulation material of the present invention is constructed as described above,
When used on a wall surface, etc., the adhesive layer 4 can be attached by pressing the adhesive layer 4 onto the wall surface while peeling off the release paper 5 on one side, and this operation is extremely easy. Now, the table shown below shows the experimental results of products (samples) implementing the present invention in order to clarify the sound insulation effect of the sound insulation material according to the present invention. The product used here uses a glass fiber woven fabric with a thickness of 180μ as the base material, and a circular galvanized iron plate small piece 2 with a thickness of 0.4mm and a diameter of 6.0mm is closely adhered to one side of the fabric through an adhesive 3 with a thickness of 60μ. , an 80μ thick adhesive layer 4 was provided on the other side, and a 100μ thick release paper 5 was attached.Effective sample area: 4.86m2 Sound source: 1/3 octave band noise Sound source room: 210m3 This is the result of testing under the conditions of sound receiving room: 210 m 3 temperature: 18°C.

Moreover, since the small pieces are thin metal plates, they can be easily cut with scissors, making the actual installation work on walls, ceilings, etc. extremely simple and extremely easy to handle. Furthermore, the sound insulating material of the present invention can be applied directly to a wall surface etc. by utilizing an adhesive layer, it can also be nailed, etc., and it can also be buried inside the wall during the wall formation process. Its use has become a matter of wide choice among practitioners. Furthermore, the sound insulation material of the present invention can be used as a single sheet, or can be laminated by stacking multiple sheets, which allows the sound insulation effect to be increased freely. Since it can provide a smooth surface, it can be used as a wall surface material without any inferiority. The sound insulation material of the present invention is effective in shielding noise from inside and outside the room by being attached to the walls, ceiling, and floor of a room, but it can also be effectively used as a material for suppressing vibrations in acoustic products, especially speaker boxes. It is also effective as a drainage sound canceling material for drainage pipes installed inside buildings, and can be used in a wide range of applications, including as a sound insulation material, a soundproofing material, and a sound deadening material. It is.
