As shown by the dotted line in Figure 3, the route of the crane from the transshipment work area C to each traveling truck changes each time, and the transportation distance by the crane becomes longer, the reloading work of the roll stand takes longer, and the operation of the rolling mill 1 becomes shorter. There was a problem that efficiency was also reduced. Furthermore, since a roll stand suspended from a crane passes in front of the operator's cab 9 disposed in front of the rolling mill 1, there is a problem in that the operation of the rolling mill 1 is hindered. Furthermore, since positions A and B, where the traveling carriages are located, are near the rolling mill 1, there is a problem in that the slinging operation is dangerous.

By reciprocating the crane between this work place and the pull-in track 19, the roll studs can be reloaded onto the traveling truck, so that the distance traveled by the crane is the shortest and its course remains constant. For this reason, the working time is shortened, and the effect is great in cases where there are sometimes four roll studs as shown in the figure, but 24 to 28 stretch reducers and the like. Furthermore, it is possible to install the transshipment work area at a desired location and extend the lead-in track 19 to this location, which is advantageous in terms of safety. Since it moves, it does not interfere with the driver and is safe.

Since the loading and unloading work can be performed at a location away from processing machines such as rolling mills, work safety can be ensured. Moreover, since no electric motor is built into the traveling cart, power supply and operation are easy. In other words, when power is supplied using a cable, etc., the cable wraps around the trolley, and when power is supplied using a trolley, there is a risk of electric shock to nearby workers, while when the electric motor is driven by a battery, it is difficult to replace the battery. Alternatively, operations such as charging are required, whereas the present invention does not cause such inconveniences. More importantly, there is no need for a driver to ride on each trolley, and there is no need for individual remote control, so costs are extremely low.
