なるよう形成したことを特徴とするものである。

ている。この側盤3の内側面には、2個の螺旋状
の雪削取りオーガ4,4の一端が固着されてお
り、このオーガ4の他端は、機体の中央部まで延
設され、中央部に設けたブロワーおよび排雪筒
(図示せず)に連繋させている。また、左右の側
盤3は対称に構成されたものである。
側盤3は、その側面形状が、回転方向前端5の
幅が広く、回転方向後端6側が次第に狭くなるよ
う円弧状に彎曲して形成された3個の側盤片3
a,3a,3aを円環状に連結したものである。
また、側盤3は、各側盤片3aを、それぞれの前
端部と後端部とを、後端部が内側になるよう順に
重合させて溶着し、さらに、後端部を支持部材2
に溶着して固定している。そして、側盤3の外周
縁には、側盤片3aの前端5と後端部の幅の差を
段差とする段差部7が形成され、また、側盤3の
内周縁8は円形となるように各側盤片3aが連結
されている。なお、雪削取りオーガ4は、中間部
を支柱4aを介して回転軸1の周面に支持されて
いる。
このような構成においては、除雪機が前進しな
がら回転軸1を駆動して側盤3および雪削取りオ
ーガ4を矢印方向に回転させると、堆積されてい
る雪は、雪削取りオーガ4により削取られて掻込
まれ、オーガ4の送り作用によつて機体中央部に
送られ、ここでブロワーにより吸込まれて排雪筒
より側方の遠方に放擲される。
この除雪作業時に、側盤3においては、前方の
雪が段差部7によつて削取られ、螺旋状に傾斜し
ている側盤片3aの側面によつてオーガ4側に送
り作用を受けて誘導され、オーガ4によつてそれ
自体が削取り掻込んだ雪と共に中央側に送られ
る。
従つて、回転軸1の両側端部における雪削取り
掻込み作業が能率よく行われ、特に機体を除雪作
業を行いながら旋回させるときは、その内方部の
除雪が能率よく行えることから、旋回性能が向上
する。
