In general, for roof structures with large spans, in addition to the conventional truss structure, a membrane structure has recently been developed as a new structural type and is attracting attention. There are two types of membrane structures: air membrane structures and tension membrane structures, and they have features such as creating large spaces without pillars and creating new architectural forms not found in conventional structures.

By the way, among conventional roof structures, in the case of a truss structure, as the span becomes larger, the dimensions of the truss also become larger, and a large number of members are required, which increases the cost accordingly. As mentioned above, the air membrane structure has the great advantage of being able to create a wide open space without pillars, but on the other hand, there are problems with the selection of the membrane material and maintaining the shape, and there are also problems with the roof structure, such as the tension membrane structure. In a structure in which the structure is suspended, a very high foundation and pillars are required in order to secure the internal space, and in either case, the problem is that the equipment and construction costs are extremely high.

In view of the above points, the present invention aims to provide a relatively low-cost structure with a large-span roof that can provide a large space without pillars, and a method for constructing the roof.

The roof frame of the structure according to the present invention is formed by forming a plurality of circular or square rings with different diameters, which are reinforced by ribs or by a honeycomb structure, and which are arranged concentrically. The lower end of the inner ring of adjacent rings is connected to the upper end of the outer ring by multiple cables, forming a conical or square pyramid shape. .

The method for constructing the roof frame of the above-mentioned large-span structure is to first lift the innermost ring to a predetermined height using a jack or crane, and connect the lower end of the innermost ring and the upper end of the outer ring using multiple cables. Once the connection is complete, remove the jack or crane on the innermost ring. Next, lift the ring just outside the innermost ring using a jack or crane, connect the lower end of this ring and the upper end of the outer ring with multiple cables in the same way as above, and then repeat the same method to connect the ring to the outermost ring. Leaving the ring behind, lift up to the inner ring,
In this method, the lower end of the inner ring and the upper end of the outer ring are connected with a plurality of cables.

By forming the roof using the method described above, it is possible to construct a low-cost roof that does not require scaffolding. Moreover, by appropriately selecting the dimensions and number of rings, it is possible to create a column-free space of any width and rise higher than the surrounding area.

When the rings are connected by a suspension cable, forces P, Q, and R as shown in FIG. 3 act on the attachment portion of the suspension cable. Therefore, in order to withstand the forces P, Q, and R, the structure of the ring 1 must be thickened, reinforced with ribs, or have a honeycomb structure, as shown in Figures 1a to 1e. It is necessary to take consideration such as combining them.
In Fig. 1, a is a thick plate, b is a plate with vertical ribs 5, c is a plate with ribs 6 in the circumferential direction, and d
1 has a segment structure, and each segment is tightened with bolts 7 to serve as reinforcement, and e has a honeycomb structure 4.

In the present invention, the roof frame of a large span structure is constructed by concentrically arranging a plurality of circular or square rings with different diameters, and connecting the lower end of the inner ring and the upper end of the outer ring of the adjacent rings. By connecting the buildings with cables and forming them into a conical or pyramidal shape, it became possible to obtain a space with a high rise and a long span, making it possible to provide an excellent venue for sports and concerts.

In addition, the above-mentioned roof construction method first lifts the innermost ring to a predetermined height using a jack or crane, and then connects the lower end of the innermost ring and the upper end of the outer ring with multiple cables. Once completed, remove the jack or crane on the innermost ring, then lift the ring just outside the innermost ring with a jack or crane, and connect the lower end of that ring to the upper end of the outer ring using multiple cables. Since this method is repeated repeatedly, it is possible to construct large span roofs without scaffolding, and it has achieved the excellent effect of being able to construct large span roofs at a relatively low cost. .
