Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は二重押出成型物に相手部材を嵌合固定
する製品の製造方法に関するものである。
(従来技術と本発明の目的、構成) 従来ボールペンなどの製造において、連続して
押出されたプラスチツク押出部材にプラスチツク
製相手部材を固定するにはプラスチツク押出部材
にプラスチツク製相手部材を圧入嵌合している。
(前者) また相手部材が金属の場合は第6図のように金
属の相手部材14をめて固定している。(後者) 前者の場合は、外側の部材の内径を内側の部材
の外径より多少小さくして圧入するに必要な強度
を得ている。しかし、この場合は材質の劣化など
とともに、圧入強度が緩み、往々にして外側部材
が抜けてしまうことがあり、必要な嵌合強度を得
ることは困難である。
後者の場合は、外側の相手部材を強くめすぎ
ると、第6図のように内側のプラスチツクペンチ
ツプ12のインキ流通孔11が塞がれてしまうな
どの問題点を生ずる。
また、通常の接着剤を用いてプラスチツク押出
部材に相手部材を接着する場合もあるが、いづれ
かの部材が通常の接着剤で接着できない場合はこ
の方法は採用できない。
本発明は以上のような従来のこの種、押出成型
物に相手部材を固定する製品の製造方法の問題点
を解決しようとするものである。すなわち本発明
は以下述べるように、相手部材2を嵌合固定する
ための二重押出成型物1を用い、この二重押出成
型物1の相手部材2を嵌合固定する面にホツトメ
ルト系接着剤の膜3を形成しておき、両者を嵌合
後、該ホツトメルト系接着剤の膜3を加熱溶融せ
しめて、両者を固着する構成を有するものであ
る。このような構成により本発明は必要な接着強
度が容易に得られ各々の部材に損傷を与えること
なく、かつ、大量生産の可能な二重押出成型物に
相手部材を嵌合固定する製品の製造方法を提供し
ようとするものである。
以下図面に記載された本発明方法の実施例につ
いて説明する。
(第1実施例の説明) 第1〜3図に示すようにたとえばボールペンを
製造する際、ボールペンは軸体1先端にペン先2
を嵌入して形成される。
本発明においては、軸体1は二重押出成型法に
より、内周面にマレイン酸変性ポリプロピレンな
どのホツトメルト系接着剤を厚さ20〜50ミクロン
程度の膜3を形成する。そしてペン先2をその先
端に嵌め込んだ後、外部からホツトメルト系接着
剤の膜3の温度が150〜160℃になるように加熱す
る。するとホツトメルト系接着剤の膜3は溶融
し、冷却固化すると、軸体1とペン先2とは強固
に接着固定される。
(第2実施例の説明) つぎに第4〜5図記載の第2実施例について説
明する。
第4〜5図はインキ流通孔11を有するプラス
チツクペンチツプ12に金属チユーブ14を嵌合
する場合を示している。
第4図のようにプラスチツクペンチツプ12の
外周面にホツトメルト系接着剤の膜13を二重押
出成型法により形成しておく。そして金属チユー
ブ14をプラスチツクペンチツプ12に嵌挿した
後、加熱冷却すると、金属チユーブ14とプラス
チツクペンチツプ12とは強固に接着固定され
る。
第6図のように従来は粘性のある接着剤を用い
ていたので金属チユーブ14をめて、内外側部
材の嵌合強度を補強していた。しかし金属チユー
ブ14をめると、プラスチツクペンチツプ12
を押しつぶしてインキ流通孔11が塞がれてしま
うことがある。
一般の粘性のある接着剤を用いた場合は外側部
材の内径を内側部材の外径より幾分小さくしてお
き、さらに第6図のように両者の嵌合強度を得る
ため、外側部材を外側からめていた。しかし、
このようにめると、たとえばペン先はペンチツ
プ内のインキ流通孔を塞いでしまうという難点が
ある。
本発明では常温では固形のホツトメルト接着剤
を用いたので、ホツトメルトが加熱されて常温固
形状態から一旦膨張して、冷却固化され、内外部
材を強力に結合するので、特に外側部材をめな
くても内外部材が抜け出るというおそれはない。
また従来のように特に外側部材の内径を内側部
材の外径より小さくする必要もないので、嵌合部
の材質の劣化も起こらない。
またホツトメルト系接着剤は常温では固化した
状態にあるので二重押出成型物として成型可能で
ある。したがつて、連続生産が可能である。
換言すれば本発明は内外側部材の接着剤として
常温で固化した状態によるホツトメルト系接着剤
を選択した点を出発点とするものである。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 相手部材2,14を嵌合固定する二重押出成
    型物1,12を用い、該二重押出成型物1,12
    は相手部材2,14を嵌合固定する面にホツトメ
    ルト系接着剤の膜3,13を設け、二重押出成型
    物1,12に相手部材2,14を嵌合固定し、外
    部から加熱してホツトメルト系接着剤の膜3,1
    3を溶融せしめた後、冷却して相手部材2,14
    を接着固定する、 ことを特徴とする二重押出成型物に相手部材を嵌
    合固定する製品の製造方法。
