Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the completion of a bonding work almost instantaneously without any use of a solvent and improve working efficiency by fixing a metal plate covered with a hot melt adhesive to a bed, laying a synthetic resin waterproof sheet thereon and applying electromagnetic induction heating to the metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate such as an iron or aluminum plate with the upper surface thereof covered with a hot melt adhesive layer of ethylene-vinyl- acetate is fixed on a concrete bed using a nail, an adhesive or the like. A polyvinyl chloride waterproof sheet is laid thereon and the aforesaid metal plate is heated with electromagnetic induction via the aforesaid waterproof sheet, and the waterproof sheet is press fixed. According to the aforesaid construction, no solvent is used at all and freedom from environmental pollution is ensured. Also, bonding work can be finished almost instantaneously and, therefore, working efficiency becomes high. Also, work on a vertical surface can be easily and properly carried out.
